DSS Says it has Arrested Boko Haram’s Spiritual Leader in Kano
The Department of State Services (DSS) on Monday said it has arrested one Mudahsiru Jibrin, who it described as the spiritual leader of Boko Haram cell in Kano, PUNCH reports.
Spokesman of the agency, Tony Opuiyo, who made this known in a statement in Abuja said that preliminary investigation conducted revealed that the suspect was also the mastermind of the shooting of some students at Government Secondary School, Mamudo village near Potiskum, Yobe State, in 2013.
Opuiyo also added that the DSS on August 19, arrested one Aikhoje Moses for sending threat messages to some members of the Diplomatic Corps in Abuja and Lagos, particularly the Consular-Generals of Switzerland and Denmark, and their Embassies, warning them to leave the country.
