R&B singer Frank Ocean‘s fans have been eagerly awaiting his return to making music for four years.

He has now released the song and video for Nikes, exclusive to Apple Music. His upcoming album is called Boys Don’t Cry and it’s unclear whether the song will be a part of it, or it’s a one-off.

The musician who once penned an open letter about his sexuality is wearing black eyeliner and glitter makeup in the symbolic video, which also shows a person on fire, and naked bodies of people of different colours, shapes and sizes underwater, on a horse and so on.

The song is a tribute to Trayvon Martin, Pimp C and A$AP Yams, while rapper Trina makes a cameo.

‘Boys Don’t Cry’ is the name of the magazine that will accompany the album ‘Blonde’, which he has already released along with a visual album ‘Endless’.
