Some of these chicks are not MELANIN
Its funny how after lupita became famous now everybody wants to claim they have melanin skin. I see a lot of girls on youtube talking bout Melanin Makeup tutorial meanwhile they are light skin. Some oyall probably do not understand what Melanin Skin is.

Lupita, Tiki Sumpter, Genevieve Nnaji, Nikki from Jamie & Nikki, Me 🙂

First time we melanin dark skin chics are getting some recognition and now some people want to steal it.

They probably should have featured Africans. Iman and Adesuwa are Africans so what do I know? They should sha not be using our culture to sell their magazines like they have all our interests at heart. No, it’s just for them to top diversity charts and all. They should have said gang of African Americans or something else. Besides nothing groundbreaking. Vogue Italia did something similar like 10 years ago and again about 3/4 years ago. BN stop subscribing to all these rubbish abeg. Nigerians obsessed about everything foreign.

Here we go again. Let the discrimination begin. You my friend are part of life’s problems.

Always forcing a division rather than unity. All the women are black. Whether shade 1,2 or 10, they are all black and they represent black women all over the world.

considering it’s the ebony ones that haven’t been getting much play until recently, this magazine could have done better.

@NaijaPikin U so very right, Becos we r Africans does not entirely mean all African women must have that ivory or ebony skin tone, African women come in all different shades, but some of you here will come with ur discriminatory biased mind and come and talk rubbish. All those women on that cover r African women, whether pure African or African American, African is African, Like i said before African skin does not come in just one skin tone biko!.
