Lamide & Lateef are So in Love! See their Stunning Pre-Wedding Shoot | LAAH Photography
Lamide and Lateef‘s love and chemistry is so apparent in their lovely pre-wedding photos by LAAH Photography.
The couple met at a party, but the groom-to-be was too slow to make a move, so Lamide met someone else there and fell for him instead! They remained friends, and when that relationship ended, it was the perfect time for them to take things to the next level.
Here’s their story of love and friendship …
How We Met
by Lamide, the bride-to-be
My love story wasn’t to be so smooth. I had to kiss a few frogs before finding my prince.
The first time I saw Lateef was at a friend’s party. I was standing at a corner checking him out, unbeknown to me, he was doing the exact same thing.Lateef however didn’t make a move and some other guy at the party was also very interested in getting to know me. The guy was also planning his birthday party for the next week and pleaded with my friend to ensure I was there. It was at the party that the romance with Lateef started. We danced to few songs and exchanged numbers.
Lateef wasn’t fast on the uptake and I dated the other guy I met at the party for a few years during which Lateef remained my close friend and confidant.
After a while, I realised what I was searching for had been there all along and we made our relationship official.
The ProposalHmmmnnn. I was in Abuja for work on Valentine’s Day 2015.
I was feeling lonely and depressed, because I wasn’t going to spend the special day with my lover, I had spoken to him that day, and he confirmed he would be spending his day in Lagos. My friend Abioye invited me for a party later that evening to solve my Abuja loneliness issue. When it was time to leave my hotel for the party, I went down to meet up with my friend at the lobby, and I saw rose petals on the floor leading to the pool area (here I was thinking some lucky babe had been proposed to, and was trying to get a glimpse of it).
My friend walked towards the pool area and urged me to follow her….on getting there, I saw my Bae down on one knee with a box in his hands…
I said YES! 🙂 and the rest, as they say, is history …
