Umm to be honest, I don’t see the difference between the marriage they had in Nigeria and this one in South Africa. The wedding dress in SA looks very similar to the one they just had in Nigeria. The SA wedding snap stories was just there compared to the one in Naija. Talk about unnecessarily spending extra money. I guess you only get married once, so to each their own.

Why did you feel the need to air such an opinion. Is it your money or wedding?

    • Nice wedding

      October 24, 2016 at 11:19 am

Bad belle comment! Its actually not that easy to have a fab wedding in SA unless you are totally in the loop over there. The weddings in 9ja are very OTT compared to other countries. We are more on a par with Dubai than SA where they choose style and simplicity over grandiose, flashy weddings. Most people choose SA because the scenery is beautiful and to reduce numbers. SA visa alone will cut your list by half.
I actually think they decided on a simple and meaningful wedding which was nice after all the brouhaha they’ve had here in 9ja.

TBH, its all very meh to me. Nothing special. The bride strikes me as very boring and nondescript. For all the money spent, it could’ve been classier. Then again, the Igbinedions have never been suckers for good taste. But they look in love so I’m happy for them. Happy married life, Umora.
BTW, I know the Igbinedion ass kissers are coming for my head for this comment, that’s if Bellanaija will even post it!

To “Hmm”‘s reply: To each their own opinion. That’s why I felt the “need to air such an individual opinion”. Now move along if you have nothing better to do with your day.

Wait! Ehn ehn, we were promised a “special guest”, who was it???

?????I’m not digging through pages to find your username, but overly excited person from the Nigerian wedding, please explain?

That aside, they all look lovely. Thought Buhari would have banned the wedding, why should we “grow the rand”?

The one on one dance was a bit weird. It seemed overscripted. Like they practiced some and received a lot of notes of what not to do so much so they ended up with tied feet. Oh well. It was only for one day. They’ll have many more to dance.

Ahhh. Grammy award winning Soweto Gospel Choir!!
The dip during the wedding dance is the first test of trust.
Hopefully I don’t rip my husband’s suit holding on too tight from fear of falling
