“My View Regarding the U.S Election” – Prophet T.B Joshua Writes

T.B Joshua

T.B Joshua

The Senior Pastor of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday released a statement on his Facebook Page following the outcome of the 2016 U.S Presidential Election.

The cleric had predicted that a woman would emerge winner of the election, but in a shocking turn of events, a man, Donald Trump was elected as the 45th president of the United States.

Read his statement below:

We have seen the outcome of the election in America. Having read, you will notice that it is all about the popular vote, the vote of the majority of Americans.

In this case, we need the Spirit of a Prophet to recognize or to know a Prophet. Our levels are different. We are not on the same level.

We might have great cathedrals, huge bells, and all kinds of activities that are good by human standards but human point of view is limited.

1 Corinthians 1:25. The foolishness of God is wiser than that of men and the weakness of God is stronger than that of men. There is no shortcut to spiritual maturity unless earthly understanding gives way to spiritual enlightenment.

I see many people trying to interpret prophets on the basis of their own minds and ideas. The prophecy seems to cause uproar, to many who gave it different meaning and interpretation.

Finally, campaigns and elections in any democratic country in the world are never about one person, it is about the country we care and love. Whichever way it happens, we must accept the outcome and then look to the future (God), the Author and Finisher.

Democracy is all about accommodation. All democrats must value the process of democracy more than the product.

God bless the United States of America.

It’s most upsetting cus he’s stating now “we’re not on the same level”. So TB Joshua, if we aint on the same level with you, why the need to tell us constantly about ya prophesies? Why not feed your so-called prophesies to those at your level? This is not “communication” at all. We don’t get it. Maybe in your realm a woman is a man and to us a woman is a woman!

P.S you’re making the situation worse! I would have expected you just keep silent about the whole issue and let it slide. Stop covering up with lies!

“We have seen the outcome of the election in America. Having read, you will notice that it is all about the popular vote, the vote of the majority of Americans.”
???? What does this statement even mean?

This false prophet, charlatan and deplorable human being has made no sense whatsoever with this weak, desperate and pathetic attempt at mending his already mangled reputation.
Stop making yourself look even more ridiculous than you already are.

If trump dies, Mike Pence takes over…..if Mike Pence dies, the speaker of house becomes president…..meaning Paul Ryan. There are no other special circumstances….he won, it sucks and TB joshua’s prediction was wrong. This is just another example why we should place our faith in God and not man.

      Tb joshua = man
      Prediction = not fact
      Tb joshua’s prediction = lol

This whole thing sounds sketchy. Prophesy is freely given to people of all spiritual levels – it is for the edification of the church, so if you say to clearly saw a woman, then a woman it should be. Also, why delete your post? A prophecy from God is solid, nothing can change it, so if you are confident in God’s word, why delete it?

I’m sure you are a man of God, but even humans make mistakes. It’s grace that picks us up and allows us to keep running. T.B. be very careful next time, before you confuse more people.

I believe every prophecy and vision is of benefit. What would ‘predicting’ the outcome of the US election add to his congregation? He just wanted to look cool but God has a sense of humour..haha

My people say that the lizard that fell from the iroko tree said if nobody praises him, he will praise himself.

Told y’all he’ll use the popular vote v electoral college defence.

I however don’t get the mockery, he made a mistake, it happens, even Samuel made a mistake regarding which of David’s brothers to make King, if not God browbeating him into submission.

Time to move on, the man is a good man, I might be wary of his personality cult, but he is charitable and I’m sure Nigeria’s leading tourism destination. All said, an asset to the nation.

It was like a warning. He gave a prophecy and the people most concerned decided to pray about it and at the end of the day, their prayers were answered, Trump won. It’s just like someone saying you are gonna die sometime soon and you decide to pray about it, cancel such prophecy concerning your life. Didn’t that happen to king Nebuchadnezer in the bible. It’s that simple. Don’t throw insults about just because a situation is not dancing to your tune. God bless y’all.

I shame for this man. He’s trying to talk only to return to saying nonsense. You have failed, move on. Trying to explain yourself only makes it worse. Besides, the US don’t even know you exist. I lost the small respect I had for him when his building collapsed under his nose. Yet he was seeing vision for the rest of the world(African leaders).

The prophet got it wrong because ‘he thought’..
….not because God made a mistake and God immediately told him he was choosing the wrong son. There is a difference between TB Joshua saying he thinks DT will win and saying God told him DT will win the election

    November 14, 2016 at 10:29 am

In my view, it would have been better that TB Joshua would have said that on his personal opinion. It offends no one to declare who you consider a better person in an election. At least many people liked Clinton and she was likely going to become a better President based on her campaign presentations than Trump who even lost all the 3 presidential debates. Opinion polls also showed that Clinton would win as a President. TB Joshua would have commented his opinion outside the church platform, and express it as a personal opinion, not likely as a prediction or a prophecy, TB Joshua has a gift from God and he has a very good heart considering the charities he is doing world wide, we can not write off everything about the man. In cases like this TB Joshua was not supposed to analyse it again in church, about majority, democracy, levels of spirit etc that to me was not necessary, what carries a high significance at the end of the day is the face value of the prophecy of which it was about who is going to be the President of USA which reality check shows 100% shows a man and not a woman, and based on the college votes Trump won with quite a big margin as compared to Clinton, putting the congress at a higher advantage to passing bills and other american stuff. So in any way the prophecy was not meant to be, as it is a direct opposite of all the contents in it. God might have shown the prophet a true vision of the American vote but may be TB Joshua was influenced by human factor like the Opinion polls, the presidential debates, and maybe himself also liking the agendas of Clinton during the campaign, so the real prophecy was overtaken by all these influences, posting it on the face book page of the church was a confirmation of human influence but i believe God might have shown TB Joshua that Trump would win the election but the TB Joshua himself did not believe and he came out to please the worlds expectations. He also felt mentioning Trump as a winner would sound awkward as he was not a popular candidate as outlined in the American history. Prophet TB Joshua God is still working on you take messages exactly the way God presents to you, God doesnt care about Majority or democracy or levels of spirit God is God. He can do what the whole world can not expect. If you had listened to the vision and pronounce it to the world that Trump would become the next president, You could become the greatest star prophet of the century. Say what God says dont fear if you go into a direction which is different from the rest of the world. God bless you Prophet TB Joshua
