An Afternoon of Inspiration & Networking – Stephanie Coker’s “The Future is Her” Officially Launches
On Sunday, December 18th, Stephanie Coker officially launched her empowerment scheme for young women, “The Future is Her.”
Following an overwhelming list of applications, the first class of five young women were chosen as beneficiaries for the program. These women’s interests lie in diverse sectors such as Food Regulation, Interior Design, Event Planning, and Broadcast Journalism.
The launch event was a small and intimate gathering, and was organized to give the selected participants a chance to meet each other and interact with a few of the mentors who will be facilitating the program.
This first edition will commence in January 2017 and will last for 6 months, ending in June. The aim of the program is to empower young women with the practical skills they need to excel in their chosen fields of interest.
” I’m very excited to launch this project that has always been a dream of mine – to encourage and develop young hardworking women to excel in their careers. Together, there’s nothing we can’t achieve!” said Stephanie Coker, Founder.
