Hollywood icon, Debbie Reynolds, has passed away at the age of 84. It happened after the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher, who died of heart attack

Her son, Todd Fisher, said her last words were “I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie,” before passing on.

Reynolds was at her and Fisher’s house when she had to be rushed to the hospital for a possible stroke on Wednesday afternoon.

On Tuesday, Reynolds had taken to social media to thank fans for their support in the wake of her daughter’s death.

“Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter,” Reynolds, 84, said on Facebook. “I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop,” she added.

May their souls rest in peace.

In our culture, we don’t inform parents about the loss of a child. Sometimes it takes years. Now I see why. So sorry.

She just couldn’t take it. I really feel for the family…now they have to deal with the loss of two people. My property law lecturer,in the Enugu campus of the Nigerian law school, died some days ago.His wife had earlier died some months ago,and apparently,he couldn’t bear it.His young kids are now orphans. R.I.P Barr. F.J Oniekoro, you were a great man.My heart goes out to everyone mourning a loved one.

I can’t believe Oniekoro is gone. He was such a brilliant and fine lecturer. May he rest in God’s bosom.

She died of heartbreak. I hear it’s an actual medical condition. God bless their souls. Reminds me of my 87 yr old grand-aunt who died soon after her daughter, my mother’s cousin died at 66. She said she couldn’t take it. After her daughter died she stopped eating and fell ill. When they were taking her to the hospital she was just laughing at them asper they were wasting their time. Days after she left the world. Continue to RIP.

May her soul rest in peace. Very painful,

My grandmother died three months after my mum died. She couldn’t bear the loss even though she had other children. We lost them in 1999. I was a little girl and sometimes when i remember the incident, i cry. I’m still healing.. (In tears)
