A Fulani wearing aso-oke for her wedding, that’s interesting Yoruba’s have taken over o. See what you Lagos pipu have caused.

    • Dtt

      December 16, 2016 at 5:02 pm

That’s not Yoruba Asoke. It seems you need to learn alot about traditional cloth Weaver’s in the North.

      December 16, 2016 at 5:41 pm

      Get over yourself

      December 16, 2016 at 5:43 pm

That is Aso-oke, absolutely. You should take a crash course yourself.

      December 16, 2016 at 6:25 pm

Lol! Please defend the agbada as well. Be decieving yourself

That’s not Yoruba aso-oke, do some research.

    • Jade

      December 16, 2016 at 8:47 pm

Iro and buba is universal now. It’s no longer strictly Yoruba. But the material is northern. Zahra is gorgeous.

    Beautiful.. Happy married life Zahra

  14. Wondering

    December 16, 2016 at 4:19 pm

The second picture…how come they’re in yoruba attire? Nawa oh. I’ve noticed it lately sha… every guy in agbada and fila, and every girl in iro and buba/aso oke – regardless of their tribe… well maybe it’s better like this. Yoruba attire can now be Nigerian attire i.e. our national attire. It makes sense since everyone wears it.

    Lovely pictures still

I wish them the happiest and most love-filled marriage. Partly because so many people are openly waiting to hear bad news. May cute Zara and her cute bae have an amazing marriage

    Where is baba bubu?

Oga, being a father is more important that naija issue o.

At least, showing your face in the pictures won’t make us ‘Nigerians’ think you are weak.

She’s ur child so act like the father of the bride and not the president of Nigeria.

Anyway, i’m a ‘hater’ so what do I know? I’ve already called myself a hater so call me another name pls. Thank u.

You want to be negative so bad.
Go and search on Instagram, you’ll see pictures of him attending today’s event with his Vice and other dignitaries.

      December 16, 2016 at 11:21 pm

Negative! U must be thinking from your anus. Anyway, u said negative instead of hater so i’ll pardon you.

Arrangee marriage..d first pic speaks a lot…they r not holding hands cos of lack of familiarity..she’s not looking into his eyes ….

      December 16, 2016 at 8:06 pm

I saw that too. They tried too hard to show a connection in the first picture but failed woefully – they looked like some sort of bad painting by an artist. Hopefully, they will get to know each other better.

Seriously, this girl and her mom should thank the gullible Nigerians that voted in her retired and incompetent dad to power, else this wedding wouldn’t have been taking place. If only you people voted her dad earlier those times he lost, her elder sister should have married well (or rather rich) too. And Aisha would have been happier.

This is the exact reason Nigeria will remain underdeveloped and corrupt! We see our filthy politicians and their kids and instead of stoning these people we go ‘aww lovely ! See how they look inside that Private jet, beautiful! Nonsense! These thieves come to power steal public funds enrich themselves and their cronies and when we see them on social media, we start fawning! See them on the streets we go ‘Rankadede! Egbon, your boys dey hail! It’s the same reason that Oriji Kalu’s daughter will have the nerve to flaunt the proceeds of her father’s loot and expect us to go ‘aww lovely couple’ . The country is in the middle of a recession, foodprices have tripled literally! And I come online with my hardearned data (which they are planning to increase its price) to see their kids who represent everything wrong with this country and I should comment on their Jimmy Choo shoes?! May Nigerian politicians and their families NEVER know peace until they do the right thing.

I agree with you, so we must not fans or support Atiku. All those past and present leaders and their families should hide their faces in shame if they were reasonable at all. They put this family in this mess, Infact there’s no country anymore just a space we are occupying. So sad

Zara don’t forget to thank Nigerians for voting in your dad, its by virtue of his status that all of this is happening. Bet you never dreamed of it.

Congratulations to the couple. I know most think it’s an arranged wedding, but I can see a connection and sparks/chemistry in their pics (esp the pre wedding ones)…it may just be true love

    • Idomagirl

      December 16, 2016 at 11:06 pm

Same here. There’s definitely chemistry between them.

    December 16, 2016 at 9:10 pm

But errm. Hausa/fulanis wear agbada. They call it babariga. Also almost every tribe ties wrapper o. Yorubas though. Y’all know nothing about the next tribe or culture. They are the same ones that think uyo is in calabar. Or that if you’re not yoruba or hausa, you are definitely igbo. Una try well well.

    • Idomagirl

      December 16, 2016 at 11:06 pm

      Don’t mind them.
That’s how some dull sisters were asking me where Benue is or if Idomas are a ‘branch’ of Igbos.
Meanwhile, their Kenyan friend knew more about Nigeria’s ethnicities.
As far as these ones are concerned, only Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas exist in Nigeria.
They’ll brag about visiting the biggest cities in the world but don’t know the first thing about people they are sharing a country with.

    • Jasmine

      December 16, 2016 at 11:24 pm

Kikikiki. Babe, Zahra is not your sister o, rest.

Idoma? A place in Nigeria or Togo? Lol

    • lily

      December 16, 2016 at 11:37 pm

Lmao @ ‘branch’. At least they were asking. I’ve had people I hold in very high esteem argue with me that I’m an igbo girl, they are so sure of themselves that I start to question my ethnicity ?. I really think people need to know the basics though. Start by knowing the geo-political zones. I’m so proud of the diversity in Nigeria that every chance I get, I tell foreigners about how beautiful it is.

    • Emma

      December 17, 2016 at 7:27 am

I get so irritated anytime Yorubas assume that I’m igbo. I was talking to one Yoruba guy recently. He asked me where I’m from, I said Bayelsa state, he didn’t know where Bayelsa state is so I mentioned nearby states including Delta state and he started arguing with me that Delta state is next to Abuja WTF!

  26. Fcvbn

    December 16, 2016 at 9:29 pm

Oh pls! That is obviously the Yoruba fila he has on… and she’s obviously wearing iron and buba… not just tying wrapper as you put it! Will it kill you to acknowledge something pretty about a tribe other than yours? Smh

  27. Deedee

    December 16, 2016 at 9:45 pm

Honestly I don’t understand why people are so bitter about this wedding. The Indimis are billionaires. And a lot of people will give them most of what they need to celebrate this wedding as gifts. I see ordinary Nigerians spending more on their weddings. Una no ask where those ones get their money from. All I see is a beautiful northern wedding, whether they are in love or not that is not your business how many people love don epp now with the alarming rate of divorce. U guys need to chill.
