It is “Illegal, Unconstitutional, and Irresponsible” – Femi Falana on Removal of Jim Obazee as FRCN’s Boss | WATCH

Lawyer and Human Rights Activist, Femi Falana has reacted to the removal of the Executive Director of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), Jim Obazee.

Falana described the removal as “illegal, unconstitutional, and irresponsible”, saying that Obazee was only implementing a law that was assented to by the Federal Government.

He also criticized churches for registering with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as NGO’s while they use funds from the public to set up businesses (schools, leasing of private jets, etc).

He called on religious bodies to “tidy up” and “discipline” themselves and not wait for the government to regulate their activities.

Fermi Falana, a beg waka pass. The sound from you now are discordant, ever since you saw fit to lead a roomful of lawyers to defend Muhammadu Buhari on a legitimate challenge for him to show us his secondary school certificate. You all intimidated a young lawyer into silence with God-knows-what tactics, to the extent the guy had to run for dear life by withdrawing the suit. No more moral standing for you biko.

Oya Buhari sharp-sharp replace him with your Daura brother.

Bottle coke now N100. Recharge cards now sells above the actual value. Exchange rate is what again? Yet, no protest from Aboki brothers. If it were Goodluck now, they will instigate protest and all, both inyamiri and ofe-nmanu will join in solidarity. I hope y’all are wise now?
