I am so ashamed to be African, a Nigerian. I don’t fathom how a continent is so lost in greed, corruption, wickedness, selfishness, evil, etc Nigeria, for example the most educated and religious group of people has recycled the same bad leadership, corrupt governance since we gained independence from Britain. Why can’t we even just do something to show vast progress not by having extravagant weddings, big houses but actual growth in economy, infrastructure, jobs, healthcare, education etc only the selected few are enjoying, that’s not improvement at all.
Every Black Country is a failed, doomed one. Why? Why? Why? We blame colonialism, imperialism but we are not the only country colonized. Look at how India has managed to grow.
Sometimes I feel like God cursed Africa to remain a dark continent because I just don’t understand how we can’t rise above this. We hate ourselves.
I couldn’t do without listening to Naija music but I’ve lost all interest. I can’t be doing shoki while my families in naija are struggling to meet basic needs.
    It hurts.

Next time Naija people hear slogan, whether ‘change’ or any other, they will know to scrutinise the antecedents of the slogan crier.

The previous budgets were like that, these thieves have been draining this country for ages. until Nigerians realize that these leaders are the enemy and mobilize against them they will continue to abuse power.

Yes oo @The Bull , it’s better late than never. No wonder APC was fighting with everything they had during election to make sure that they took all senatorial seats so they can continue to approve cooked budget for themselves without questions even at this recession . unfortunately for them Nigerians are a lot wiser and outspoken now.we would keep calling them out until they resign or they are voted out of those offices.Nigerian politicians are liers and are wicked criminals without concise for the masses. Buhari and APC are No exception rather they are worse for lieing to Nigerians with ‘change” only to be squandering tax payers sweat at this recession without considering Nigeria’s present economic status.Thieves!!
