You never see anything. Nigerian women love to look old and behave old. Go to Instagram and see all them 40 year old lookin like gabrielle union grand ma. They even go as far as calling younger women their daughters and they give marriage advice like kilode.

      April 3, 2017 at 12:46 am

But your husband dresses like David Beckham and is busy importing Instagram babes from Miami. Nigerian women need to get a life.

      Gosh I miss
      The best blog in 2016.
She had all the gist and all the receipts to back it up. She knew Shina gist inside out with photos of back up. That blogger was dangerously good.
I can’t wait for to come back.
And please only the gullible fools believe that blog was run by those two Indian thots used as scapegoats. will be back and with a different name.

Thank God I am 43 yet I look 26. When I look at others I feel blessed 🙂

Ladies be inspired by the likes of Nicole Murphy mother of 5 and take care of your bodies. Also take car of your undereyes your neck and especially your hands. Your hands is very important. They are a dead give away of your real age. Drink a gallon of water a day eat healthy and get lots of sleep if you can.

    Happy birthday Madam

I very much doubt that you actually ‘look’ 26. At best you’re slim or petite perhaps but at 43 your face and hands cannot, even with surgery, look 26. And Nicole Murphy has had cosmetic surgery coupled with routine ‘refreshers’ so not the best example for seemingly ageing backwards.

Btw your shade did not go unnoticed. Women let’s learn to be less bitchy to our ilk especially with regards this incessant and pointless measure of our worth by our looks and dress size.

Thanks dear. You couldnt have put it better. You don’t see men bashing each other for how they look. Women dont bash men either. They infact make excuses for their bot bellies and grey hairs specially when its a much younger woman dating a much older and greyed man.

You will then start hearing stuff like “He has a youthful soul, and I am a very old soul”
      . Shiorr!

I need to ask, when did pre wedding/birthday photoshoots become the norm? Has it ways been like this in Nigeria or is it that one person started then the rest followed as we always see on here?
    What next, pre funeral photoshoots?
    I seriously want to know.

      April 1, 2017 at 8:47 pm

You were not in Nigeria or the world when people used to do ‘beside the flower’ shot. ‘Sitting on a chair’ shot, ‘Trying to pluck a leaf’, ‘holding the cooler while sitting down’, ‘bending as if you want to kneel’ and so on and so forth.

You weren’t in Nigeria when this poses(?) were in vogue? Oh ok you are 20 and didn’t understand what a picture was then?

Ayobola Ijaiya-extremely brilliant. The kind of students that make your parents say to you ‘does she have 2 heads and you reply when you see a Dangote- does he have 2 that joke). Ayobola would sweep all the prizes available on prize giving day and she was very, very beautiful. Then she had that class and grace- from a wealthy home (her Dad was Chairman on the board of one of the oil multinationals in Nigeria) . Amidst all these, she was rather shy and very quiet. Her feats at the time inspired many including myself to study harder and all that…I would have thought she would now be at NASA or some Software Engineer at Microsoft or doing stem cell research at John Hopkins whilst being married to some Wall Street Mogul or some Dr. Alas, I saw this piece! She grew up in wealth so I am not surprised she married into it. But I must confess, I am surprised about her choice of man – I expected an ‘alakada’ kinda person. And I am surprised by my subsequent google outputs that suggest an Ayobola that is now a ‘Lagos big girl’. That is a complete turnaround from her childhood days. I guess love goes beyond all that, I guess her happiness matters more than societal expectations, I guess the personality of the one we love can subsume our own personality and re-create us, and as Yorubas say ‘ba se waye paari, laari’- ‘destiny will always prevail’. From someone you inspired even without knowing while we were all innocent children, may Allah continue to make your life that of grace and abundance just as it has always been. My regards to Tunde and Bolaji…

      LOLL Ilorin people!!!!! Welcome…

You even joined Tunde and Bolaji to the mix, after dropping Ayobola’s life history. Wehdone.

Speaking of which, whatever happened to Bolaji? He just disappeared off the radar.

Wow, I think we are beginning to place too high expectations on looks, I saw the pictures after reading comments and I can’t believe this woman is ‘looking older than 40’ to some people. Even the styling I believe is a ‘look’. Some people don’t care to look sweet sixteen and I think that’s okay.

  22. Louda

    April 3, 2017 at 6:20 pm

This woman is very beautiful was all that came to my mind when I looked at her. But then, the stylist did not help her government like the other comments I read but the thing is that a pretty woman is a pretty woman. Then from the Shina Peller I have seen on lindaikeji blog, mehn. Lemme leave it like this now.
