Guess the African entertainment landscape was too “razz” for them to scope or analyse. So they are beginning to look our way @ themForbes… Not bad, kudos to our African stars.

psst! Where is PSquare and the rest… am wondering. Hmmm! So them videos must be deceiving us. Guess Forbes Africa was trynna be modest with Nigerian artists flooding the list, so they ranked Don Jazzy 4th. I rank him 2nd cos of two reasons, 1. He is Nigeria, and 2ndly I don’t know the other two people above him. hehe!

Why is M.I Abaga not on the list? The guy is freaking rich. That he doesn’t flaunt his wealth doesn’t mean he isn’t rich.

Absolute nonsense. Where is PSquare. Forbes better stick with their usual business evaluation and leave music for Billboard. I guess The black coffee of a thing fooled the ridiculous forbes with his picture in a jet with P Diddy. Forbes got played lol

So when Forbes says Beyoncé and Jay Z are collectively worth over a billion dollars (despite his numerous failed businesses), you’ll believe it! When its their African counterparts, you have a hard time believing?!
NB. Spending 75% and over of what one earns doesn’t make one rich/ wealthy!

No man! It is a fake list anyways. Black Coffee is one of the richest in SA yes but where is Cassper,AKA,Da Les,Dj Tokzen, Dj Tira, Die Antwoord, Goldfish, Harael Salkow from Soulcandi, Harael alone makes over a million dollars a year. Dj Tira (Fact Durban Rocks events – on in July and one in December), He also has a contract with various state governments to do at least 5 major events worth at least $1 million dollar a year. You people need to really consult before making such a list. All the richest artists are from SA. More then 2000 artists in SA make about $100 000 a year. Tell me which Industry is so rich in Africa while Nigeria artists claim to be rich but not more then 100 people there make a decent living through music. Gigs bro SA artists coin it in December! More then 200 artists make $15 000 in that month alone. Johannesburg , Pretoria alone has over 100 djs not even artists who are super rich. There are more then 1000 major events and festivals in South Africa in December and some popular artists refuse gigs when they are overbooked. Don’t you dare disrespect SA music. Please check all those artists and get back to me.

Cassper alone is richer then all the Nigerian artists. He has at least 3 major endorsement deals ie. MTN, Ciroc, AG Mobile. Cassper’s endorsement deal with MTN alone is worth $950 000 a year. I don’t know how much MTN pays Nigerian artists in those endorsement deals but I’m confident the money in Africa is in SA anyways. MTN is South African anyways. Check the number of dollar millionaires Johannesburg alone produces. It is more then the number of dollar millionaires in the whole of Nigeria.

AKA is not rich, he lives off women, and spends more than he makes. Black Coffee has been in the industry for a long time, right now he is resident dj in Brazil, owns a penthouse in New York and a house in Atlanta, he doesn’t flaunt his wealth. Moreover, he is a stable guy, and his wife is a very busy actress. Cassper is another screwed up boy who is forever in the news. There you have it.

This list was compiled by some pained South Africans in Forbes, they’ve been trying to steal the show from Nigeria.. How can you say Black Coffee is richer that Wizkid? Black Coffee that struggled to buy Bentley last month, same Black Coffee that has maned to secure only one endorsement for the past 4 years.
