2019 Elections: Northern Youth Group Proposes 11 Names For Presidency

Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) has called on Northern youth to embrace peace and avoid religious and ethnic polarity within the north.

He said that the quit notice given to the Igbos was ill-advised, ill-timed and uncalled for.

According to The Sun, the group’s leader Comrade Elliot Afiye reiterated its desire to have a Northern President in 2019 with a list of 12 potential candidates.

These include Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, Senator Bala Muhammed, Atiku Abubakar, Tanimu Turaki, Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto, former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido, Governor Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna State, former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, Governor Ibrahim Shettima of Borno State, and Governor Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari of Zamfara State.

They underlined that their actions were solely in the interest of the nation and nothing else, expressing their desire to pay any sacrifice for the unity of the country.

Circus clowns fits them perfectly. Are they telling us that PMB is dead and gone?
How will they develop when they have been recycling same waste products and expect better results? If you have chosen them, the whole country will vote then we’d know whose mandate would stand. In the meantime, they should think of bettering the north.
Until then, 2019 isn’t here yet.

Shettima that married an underage girl? And modu sheriff the one that was stated to have stolen loads of money. You are all jokers. We don’t want any northern president. We want a candidate that’s ready to restructure the bleeding country and move the country forward for the betterment of all citizens. None of these so called nominees will cut it. And by God’s grace all the youths will match out to vote come what may and kick all of you out. Enough is enough nau. Haba. God have mercy. Saraki is from Kwara. I didn’t know Kwara is now part of the north. SMH. Foolish politicians!
