EFCC Headquarters in Abuja attacked by Gunmen
Unknown gunmen on Wednesday morning attacked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters in Abuja.
According to Sahara Reporters, the gunmen were heavily armed and invaded the premises at about 5 AM, shooting sporadically and damaging vehicles.
The gunmen are said to have been repealed by the guards on duty, escaping in a getaway vehicle.
They did however state their mission before leaving.
They left behind a white envelope that contained a death threat addressed to Ishaku Sharu, head of the Foreign Exchange Malpractices Fraud Section.

Ohh goodness me! Nigeria my country, how did we get here. When there is no security in the country, its citizens can never have peace of mind, investors can never come into the country for any kind of investment. Nigeria the gian of Africa is gradually becoming the dwarf of Africa. Kidnapping is on the rise, robery is at its peak, gunmen here and there, the president has gone on exile. Every form of atrocities is happening in Nigeria and the culprits are getting away with it. God please for the sake of our future generation, deliver our country Nigeria. I dont know how u will do it but i know u will do it.

I pray for the protection of mothers, fathers and sons who work in EFCC. Such a thankless and dangerous job. In a sane climate they should be heros and be celebrated but politics and politrics mars everything in Nigeria. Please keep your head low and your movement discreet.
I also hope they put all their records and proceedings on cloud so cases can be brought to a conclusive end no matter who is in office.
May the plans of evil people not succeed Amen
