The Ekopolitan Experience & Lagos Corner bring you Colours of Lagos in London at the Notting Hill Carnival 2017 | Aug. 26th – 28th
This year, as part of the Lagos@50 celebration, Lagos is in full effect at the world famous Notting Hill Carnival Weekend in London. Tagged as ”Love Lagos Weekend”, the 3-day event starts with the MC Abbey Comedy Concert, followed by the EKOpolitan Experience where people can come enjoy, and also experience Lagos in London. The highlight of the event of the weekend is the Lagos Corner at the Notting Hill Carnival.

The Lagos State team to London for these events is headed by the Lagos State Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts & Culture, Adebimpe Akinsola, and the Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Steve Ayorinde. The Producer of the events, Ayo Shonaiya says, as we’ve been doing for over 30 years, producing the Nigerian Corner at the Notting Hill Carnival, it’s just getting better and better, and with Lagos State’s involvement since last year, we’ve now added the EKOpolitan Experience to it, which is aimed at promoting the brand Lagos to the world.
