When I see people looking this good while pregnant, I start to think of all the “why me” questions I will ask God when I finally see him.
After almost 10months of gigantic tummy, very black skin(def didn’t glow), massive weight gain, twas then topped off by 18 long painful hours of labor…I saw the baby&he looked exactly like my hubby(imagine) and no I did not forget the pain immediately,I still remember the pain till this day and my baby is 1 year and I’m pregnant for another and they say the 2nd baby is easier but I’m naturally not inclined to believe them because I’m just 4months and everyone is guessing my due date is in weeks and my skin is getting suspiciously darker and I have breakouts that just won’t go and….. OK OK I’m sorry to rain on this parade but she’s just so so gorgeous at baby shower stage…not fair(folds arms&pouts)

Your story is my story. I’m pregnant for the 3 time and I realized my mistakes in the first two pregnancies (I went from 75kg to 104kg. 2nd pregnancy ended at 1O6kg with terrible Edema that started in 1st trimester and hyper pigmentation too. Both 1st two pregnancies werw back to back. I got Hynea too, this makes one look pregnant even when not pregnant. Imagine with pregnancy what a massive bump I have. This time around (1 year, 7months later) though I lost weight and came down to 73kg, I looked flabby. I started working out 30 minutes almost everyday. I noticed, my muscles are toned, My pre marriage complexion is back.
I’m gaining weight gradually and I think it’s the baby and all the amniotic sac weight. I also cut white bread, sugar and some food out of my meals and drink lots of water. Though with a big bump at 18 weeks, I look better this 3rd missionary journey.

My dear be thankful oh. Some are begging God to experience what its like to be pregnant. Whether black face or round nose.Whatever it is they are begging God for that experience. So when next you see yourself in the mirror pls just say thank you Lord for this experience.

I thank God pregnancy is when i look my best i gain only about 8 pounds no hyperpigmentation no morning sickness apart from excessive sleepiness in the early stages. B4 you get pregnant take ur vitamins. I think it helped me. Pregnancy is very merciful to me. I wish i could get pregnant again but after 4 hyperactive kids and getting older it’s not advisable. Once the baby is born my tummy goes in immediately and breastfeeding helps the uterus shrink drastically
