Actress Kerry Washington was honored yesterday by the Women Making History Awards for her philanthropic endeavors to support young women as well as for breaking barriers in the entertainment industry.

The event was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills and the 40-year-old movie star looked gorgeous in a Caroline Herrera dress.
