Watch #Trending video of Suspected Army officers Torturing IPOB Members

In a video posted on Twitter by Sahara Reporters, suspected Army officers are seen torturing members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The IPOB members are made to go shirtless and lie on the side of the Aba/Umuahia expressway, as a Biafran flag is laid in front of them.

They are then forced to run into a puddle of water, caned over the head as they do so. They are made to sleep in and drink from the puddle of water.

And this ladies and gentlemen is why Nigeria needs to be restructured. Torturing and killing of unarmed civilians simply because they no longer want to belong to the union called Nigeria? Can the military go to the North and kill unarmed civilians agitating under any guise? This country really needs men and women of conscience to stand up and speak truth to power.

The Nigerian military are equal opportunity abusers. Don’t try to make this out to be something they don’t do up North.
Just look up any Amnesty International report on the war against BH or the ways in which civilian suspects held in Giwa Barracks have suffered if you need to see examples.

Agụ… Isi ezughị gị oke. Igbos have highest per capita income (according to your backyard survey), what has that got to do with anything? I know we only see you with your anti-igbo comments on posts relating to igbos but at least try to think before posting

Igbos are number one in wealth through hard work doesn’t mean Igbos aren’t discriminated against. Jews are the wealthiest group in Europe and America yet they encounter lots of hate from jealous people.

Rather than condemning the abuses in the video you’re here justifying with “but Igbos are rich” And so what?

FGN is fanning a flame that will engulf them.. They are repeating the same mistake they made with Boko, you can never fight ideology with force whether right or wrong.
By simply killing or torturing these folks, you only make them more resolute in their beliefs and ideology, the FGN thought by killing off the founder of boko they had won the way only to create a bigger monster that has engulfed Nigeria and claimed plenty of innocent lives..

FGN CANNOT fight another insurgency war, this will cause Nigeria to implode, PMB needs to sit down with his security chiefs, the IPOB folks, stakeholders on both sides and figure out a lasting solution before shyte hits the fan. This was exactly how the boko fiasco started, God bless Nigeria!

Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Buharis Nigeria! My heart indeed bleed.
I feel really sorry for the Igbos.
I hope that Tinubu and his kinsmen who imposed the vampire on the innocent Nigerians are happy and feasting?
Wale vintage and Ganny Olusakin I hope your day has been made just like Buhari’s?
    The blood of the
dead, the Lord will enquire from you.
I advice all Igbos to call their friends and families to allow this pass. No king reigns for a thousand years . Tell them not to allow themselves waste ….

I want to thank the SW again for choosing Buhari over every A PC presidential contestant and ultimately a democratic Jonathan.
TINUBU , Obasanjo …..Falana, Bakare , Joe Igbokwe, Osita Okechukwu, Abike Dabiri, Amaechi your food is ready. You may now consume the dead young man!

ibu onye ara. go and do your research before you challenge me. its 100% fact that poverty is more in northern nigeria than south east nigeria. igbos have the highest GDP per capita than northerners and highest level of education than the northerners. this is the facts you need to know before you start following that fraud guy nnamdi kalu.

You still haven’t answered the question of what it has to do with anything… The fact that igbos have thrived despite continuous adversity. Whose fault is it that the north would rather remain in poverty, rejecting education, rejecting Healthcare and everything that will advance them. Don’t be unfortunate this evening abeg.

Igbos are what and who they are by their hardwork. They are marginalized politically in Nigeria. The North you used in comparison, are the wealthiest in Nigeria because they dominate politically, and use their pen to steal away billions from our collective resources. Poverty is more amongst them because they greedily refused to allow the wealth go round, and use religion to deceive the poor in their midst.

    Indeed Buhari was a mistake.
We the Yorubas must see our selves in the Ibo eyes. The president does not love us any better.

In 2014 APC went to court to challenge Jonathan for deploying soldiers to Ekiti state during election. The landmark judgement delivered was that the president has no powers to deploy soldiers to civilians. Femi Gbajabiamila also took then government to court and the same law was reaffirmed. Today same APC is deploying same soldiers to kill innocent civillians? You judge for yourselves.

Thanks to the Nigerian Army. Deal with any IPOB miscreant. The real Nigerians are solidly behind you. Just torture and use rubber bullets, so that they can show their scars to other ignorant agitators.

Deal with them ruthlessly without mercy. When your IPOBS attacked the Hausas in Rivers, you lots did not complain. There is another video circulating around, where your IPOB miscreants are stopping buses in order to attack any Hausa on board. When you ignite a fire you cannot stop, get ready to be burnt above measures. When the retired boko haram boys in the north, start dancing with you, don’t shout hatred.

Thank you anonymous for displaying your ignorance. So you think this is the best way to deal with this problem, you even mentioned torture, u should be ashamed of yourself. Read @nwanna’s comment, if you keep on torturing or abusing these people like this, you make them want to defend themselves and their ideology more. But i don’t expect someone like you to understand that, the only thing your meagre intellect can comprehend is torture and rubber bullets. Rubbish!!!

      @ Miss moonlight

The IPOBS can attack others but they don’t deserve to be tortured. Whether their ideology grows or not, my present concern is that any miscreant found in any zone should be dealt it with mercilessly. I guess you were all sleeping when your Kanu said he is going to Abuja with a milli Nnmen to bring Buhari’s head. Nigerian army, we are solidly behind you.

Miss sunshine / moonlight, and Anonymous, the glee you express here, is not so much connected with the fact that the Nigerian army is trying to restore law and order, than that they are dealing with a quiet fear of the Igbo man’s threat to your diminutive and mediocre stature.

And oh Lorarae, I forgot to tell you that in Biafra, Africa died.It is in the resurrection of the Igbo man that Black Africa will occupy a place of pride in the comity of nations . Until then let us ( Africa and rest of the world ) enjoy the confusion called Nigeria !

    A few questions

    1. Can somebody please explain, how buhari is the direct cause of the IPOB uprising? Have their governors been working hard? Do they have corrupt free states?
    2. Has Nnamdi Kanu established the degree of popularity of biafra among igbo people? Can he boldly say majority of igbo people want a sovereign biafra?
    3. Does biafra comprise south-south and south-east states or just south-east states?
Have majority of the south-south agreed to be biafra?
    4. What are the legal processes for seccession? Can anybody just draft a claim to secced? Has kanu written to his representatives in the national assembly?
Is there a case in court pushing for a referendum by federal government?

      September 15, 2017 at 12:38 am

There’s a case in Owerri high court, against Nigerian goverment, long before Kanu came along. The federal government has been frustrating it .Do your research.
They people want to separate not secede. ..two different things!

My take is: treat your house help well and no matter what lies people peddle against you, she will not leave! That’s my mom’s quote! The answer is fairness, equity and justice!
People who feel they are fairly treated and belong in Nigeria will not agitate.
You can’t and should not gag or cage , terrorize people into submission! !!

Why are you bothering yourself with trying to reason with Nigerians one person put it succinctly in a previous post days ago that there are some people you can’t reason with 1)Bihari supporters 2)biafra supporters and a woman in love
