#AlohaSusu – Adesua Etomi’s Hawaii Inspired Hen Party #BAAD2017



Today is the day!
Award-winning actress Adesua Etomi will marry her love Superstar musician Banky W in a traditional ceremony taking place today in Lagos.

Leading up to their wedding, the couple have savoured the treasured milestones and events including their introduction, the bride’s bridal shower, groom’s bachelor trip and finally, the bride’s intimate hen party which took place at a private beach house this weekend.

With close friends including actresses Linda Ejiofor, Nancy Isime and Jemima Osunde by her side, Adesua enjoyed a relaxing time-out ahead of today’s festivities.

    Hen Party AND Bridal Shower? Aren’t they one and the same thing?

      You could have used the time spent typing this comment to educate yourself, instead of coming of as ignorant. No, bridal shower and hen party are not the same!

      Hen night aka hen party aka bachelorette party is the final hurrah before the wedding. It’s typically the event with male strippers, lots of booze, p*enis-shaped cakes and balloons etc. I guess she wanted to keep hers PG13.

      Bridal shower on the other hand, is a gift-giving event were guests also impact words of wisdom to the bride. Mothers, grandmas, mothers in law are invited to these, but definitely not to the bachelorette party!
