Nigeria’s Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, Ade Adesanya & Ebele Ifedigbo make Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Class of 2018

Described as the Young Stars, Visionaries, and Creative Disruptors, the Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2018 is made up of 600 young stars in 20 different industries.

Split into 23 categories: from Art & Style to Education, Energy to Sports, Finance to Media, there’s Music, Food & Drinks, even Social Entrepreneurs.

The list was chosen by 68 industry stalwarts, including Bozoma Saint John and Cynthia Rowley.

Of course, the list is peppered with Africans, including Nigeria’s 26-year-old Iyinoluwa Aboyeji who founded Flutterwave.

Other Africans in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2018 include:

29-year-old Robert Kabera, a native of Rwanda; 29-year-old Ebele Ifedigbo, co-founder of The Hood Incubator; 17-year-old actress Madina Nalwanga from Uganda; Sabaah Folayan, the 26-year-old who co-directed the police brutality documentary “Whose Streets?“; 29-year-old Tsion Gurmu from Ethopia; Ade Adesanya, 27-year-old co-founder of Moving Analytics; 23-year-old actor Kofi Siriboe whose Ghanaian parents emigrated to the US; Awol Erizku, 29-year-old artist born in Ethopia with an MFA from Yale; and Iyore Olaye, the 22 year old who trended after being the only black girl graduating from her Cornell class and is now a lead product development engineer at Walker and Company.
