      Abeg shut up.
As if all you beta, insecure, abusive rapists parading yourselves as Nigerian men are any better.
All you man beasts know how to do is hustle illegitimate money, beat up women and be lame in bed. If you see your asian and caucasian superiors now, you’ll start shaking and doing boy-boy for them.

      February 9, 2018 at 4:49 am

Nope she’s not dumb at all. She’s actually very smart. Watch as this show will so take off. If it can happen with Big brother it will definitely happen with this one. Ratchet version of Lekki wife’s ???

Take cues from chimamanda she has lived in the USA longer than all these nitwits starting from the ebony lifers and other misguided insecure ppl on tv yet she retains her original accent and is respected for it.

    • Cheeksi

      February 9, 2018 at 1:16 am

That Chimamandas accent didnt change doesnt invalidate those whose accents did change. And some people do the fake accent thing for validation or successs. Even Chimamnda has confessed to having fake accent initially. But at her level now, she doesn’t need it anymore.

  16. Hotchick

    February 9, 2018 at 2:20 am

Love or hate her, Linda Ikeji is onto something. There is a market for ratchet TV. Will I be watching? No!!! But, many people will, especially if her channel is available on Free-to-Air.

Everyman on their lane. My 2 cents!

  17. UNBELIEVABLE

    February 9, 2018 at 2:25 am

I’m so dissapointed and cannot believe Linda Ikeji intends to put this rubbish out for public viewing. Some people are willing to do just about anything even destroy lives, just to make money and still they have no peace and joy. SMH in disgust.

But BNers, the ratchetness , classlessness and more like it represent who we are for the most part. Never mind all the class and exposure people form on BN. I think Ebony TV tries too hard selling a lie about us to the world . The Nigerian class thing is such a farce. I can define it in so many terms : I beta pass my neighbor, the face of hunger, the face of oppression etc That is what class in Nigeria represents!
Nigerians are fake. “Fakerity” is a Nigerian!
Let’s stop with all condemnation for this program and “face us in this. mirror “

    • Engoz

      February 9, 2018 at 3:26 pm

Are you serious? So this is who you are? You have broken bottle to fight your friends? And you are ‘faking’ if you present normal behavior? So this is your reality? Jesus is Lord!

No it does not represent Nigerians for the ‘most’ part. It is only your reality. But you deserve better.

I see some of you saying “Linda is smart, Linda is about to hammer..creating a niche for herself”

    I PITY YOU.

Linda is HELPING the DEVIL push his AGENDA..she is helping people go to HELL. All for MONEY. And the worst part is she will have the audacity to say this is a BLESSING from GOD.

    Sigh.

If she is just ignorant about her cheerleading for the devil, i pray God opens her eyes and she finds her way home.

p.s: Of course i didn’t watch whatever this is. I GUARD MY EYES. DO THE SAME.

    • Dust

      February 9, 2018 at 8:25 pm

      there is no devil…

Linda is only pushing a whyte suupremacist agenda and she is directly and indirectly going to lead some members of her race astray for financial benefits..

God can’t open her eyes bcos there is no God… she likes money and would do anything to maintain her current lifestyle..

she has to open her eyes herself bcos the creators of this world are only merciful while the creation is on earth.

@Engoz, I may not even leave my car to argue with the other driver who has bashed my car. But do I think the person who does is crass no ! Will I engage in a bottle fight I just might if the situation calls for it ! Even if I decide not to , It doesn’t make me higher/ superior to the person who does. They are just settling disputes
The class/ classlessness discourse on this blog irritates the life out of me .
How does one explain an entire monoclonal generation of. Nigerian youths from upper and middle class who speak with the same accent, walk with same carriage, etc The Class thing sells so much in Nigeria that people do not mind whatever it costs them to acquire it. The same cycle reproduces it self several times over . This is the bane of our lives as a people. The Westerner whom you so want to impress has refused to be impressed. You will be more appealing to him if you gesticulated several times while trying to say a word in his language, if you walked like the African you are and not put up some haute shoulders.
And please class does not equate to good behavior. The kind of class we speak of on BN most times ( which we do know the meaning) wears a different face in other climes : the face face of humanity.

    • Dust

      February 9, 2018 at 8:15 pm

No one is trying to impress any westerner… that you come to such conclusions is bad for your mental health..

Enlightened Nigerians and Africans stand shoulder to shoulder with any race anywhere, anytime and anyday.. In fact, most Africans if not for the forex we get from working in their countries would have anything to do with westerners or even leave the continent.

    • Engoz

      February 9, 2018 at 9:41 pm

      @Bowl

First, you have it all screwed up to equate poverty to being crass. In your attempt to ‘fight’ for the poor, you have equated bad behavior as a quality of the poor. You need to seriously apologize to poor people. I know poor people. Heck, there were periods of poverty in my life, but we still maintained proper etiquette during social gatherings.

There are decent individuals in all social class. And there are crass and vulgar individuals in all social class.

This is a CRASS and VULGAR show. And the girls exhibited crassness and vulgarity irrespective of their social class. Same way Davido exhibits uncouth and ill-mannered behaviors despite his social ‘upbringing’.

Secondly, you can argue with someone who bashed your car in traffic, however you do not show good etiquette to act in such vulgarity at a restaurant/bar/social situations.

Thirdly, none of our traditional cultures support these behaviors. So pray tell, how is this representative of ‘Nigerians’? Or rather educate us if such behavior is exclusive to your ethnic group.

Fourthly, you are the one suffering from inferiority complex or in your own words ‘trying to impress your Western masters’ for the reason of bringing this copy-cat Americanized ghettofied ‘ratchetry’ and debauchery to the Nigerian domain.

Being decent and indecent is very clear to me. I do not blur the lines in an attempt to not ‘judge’. When something is good I know it and when something is terribly bad, total trash and absolutely ridiculous, it is very very clear to me.

It is always the bad thing you lot copy from them and import into your struggling societies. Don’t worry your consequences will be worse than the Black American cultural degeneracy. Continue swallowing all these rubbish.

  46. Bowl

    February 9, 2018 at 7:39 pm

Class never refines man . Acquiring a studied attitude towards improper behavior is part of good grooming but it doesn’t mean you are refined. You are still as basic as the elemental old man ! Only Jesus , with the help of the Holy Spirit refines men ( and that is , if you let Him )

  47. Bowl

    February 10, 2018 at 3:07 am

Well, Engoz and Dust, ride well on your classy high horses. The Nigerian class thing is a well studied subject and we know ourselves. Nigerians can literally survive on class , particularly visitors to this blog. The class we so often evince reeks of nothing but insecurity. Use all the sophistry you know , you will never win this argument with me . I know how offensive this stance is .
The points I have raised are as clear as day .
And Dust , i walk in life to establish myself in my lane ( being very confident and comfortable there) . I do not aspire to stand shoulder to shoulder with any Westerner. They will stand in their lane too and doff their hats for me !

    • Dust

      February 10, 2018 at 5:00 am

the only person riding high horses is you… it is you who seeks validation from w:esterners but claim otherwise…

In case you haven’t noticed, w:esterners don’t like to stay in their lane, they will come for you when the time is right…

even your comment says “they will doff their hats for me” that is enough evidence that you’re seeking validation from both w:esterners and your peers and that reeks of inferiority complex..

when Africans, Asians, native Americans were on their own and minding their business the w:esterners came with guns to destroy their progress…

    • Engoz

      February 11, 2018 at 7:57 pm

Social class or elitism is not an import from the ‘West’. Every civilization has their elite upper class, middle and lower classes. It is not a learned behavior from oyibo. However classiness can exist in all social class. And it is solely not dependent on income or status. That’s why I said you should tell us your ethnic group, maybe it was oyibo that taught you people how to have proper social etiquette.

You are the only one trying to impress your western masters by importing this glorified American nonsense to the Nigerian culture. Stop being insecure and perpetuating criminal behaviors as the norm.

  48. Bowl

    February 10, 2018 at 9:25 am

Dust, I insist they will come to my lane.
I do not seek anybody’s validation in this life, no never.

Well. I will watch the first episode, as a sociological experiment to understand the runs girl mindset. Come and see bleaching. Angular cheekbones, and fleshless bodies. It is like watching aliens from Mars speak English. Chai.

  50. californiabawlar

Unfortunately this is a depiction of nija women. Rough around the edges, aggressive, rude, loud, insecure and uncouth. They are the same all over the world and moreso in America.
