Frustration made me do it - Mentally Challenged Man who allegedly killed Ogun Pupils - BellaNaija

The suspect, Lekan Adebisi

Lekan Adebisi, a man said to be mentally disabled, allegedly hacked two pupils of St. John’s Anglican Primary School, Agodo, Ogun State.

Adebisi was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command on Wednesday, after he was shot in the leg.

Speaking to Punch, Adebisi said he was frustrated was why he hacked the students to death.

Adebisi, who said he is 28-years-old, claimed he was hungry and frustrated. He said:

I did not eat for two weeks and I went out to beg other people for money. Nobody gave me money. When I had money, I took care of family members, friends and even outsiders.

It was due to frustration. When hunger gripped me and it became unbearable, I thought of my life and concluded that it was a bad life. Then I grabbed a machete. I was prepared to face the consequence.
