To announce the star-studded lineup as well as other details about the upcoming Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 event, a press conference was held today at Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The press conference was attended by Tiwa Savage, Naomi Campbell, Sho Madjozi, Precious Moloi Motsepe, Kweku Mandela as well as Minister of Energy for South Africa Jeff Radebe, CEO and Co-Founder of Global Citizen Hugh Evans and more.

    Let me ‘charply’ educate you ‘omomo’. Few years ago ur black ass cldnt raise Nigerian artist above ur cherished foreigners cos you felt our lyrics are empty, and they cldnt ever rub shoulders. Now they paving a way and making the westerners recognize AFRO BEAT. If the first set of artist to break out don’t sign these foreign label’s deal and take it serious, how do you feel this AFRO BEAT is going to be seen as? Y’all shld just shut up n start celebrating us.
