    She’s pretty for sure.
If only she could use her platform to help foster a better Nigeria in her own lil way

I’ve noticed a large representation of Igbo women in pageantry. I guess, it’s their thing. I just hope its not a biased thing because beauty lies in all parts of Nigeria.
I hope African women can one day see their own natural hair as civilized, high class, beautiful and yes it can grow long, if not long can be short but healthy. African features compliments their own hair same applies with white features and their hair

haba !!! come on now, everything must not be zoned. so since an ibo girl won this year, next year will be zoned to the middlebelt, north or southwest. and we want a better Nigeria where the best excels? please dont be like the health minister that just told us that every doctor can not practice because some will be have try farming and sewing his clothes.

I don’t understand your comment. It’s not about who wins but the people who were chosen to compete in the first place. My point is, there’s a large representation of igbo women in Nigerian beauty competitions. Not a lot of northerners(okay their religion is probably against it), not a lot of middlebelt, few south and yorubas.
So, I’m hoping the organizers are not being biased by choosing women from a certain group.
It’s either igbo women show out more for these competition than any other group or something is not adding up.
Just like the beauty pageants here, white women are the majority. So it’s either Asian and black women don’t show up as much, or the organizers are biased by picking white women.

If Nigerians want a better country, being fair and equal is part of it. I’m sure if another group was outnumbered Igbo people will feel they are being discriminated against as they are the most vocal about being treated unequal.

Seriously, your statement is very biased. Yearly MBGN has many winners it’s not like back in the days when one girl wins all. An Igbo girl won the MBGN world and a Yoruba girl won MBGN universe, what the heck are you talking about? Your analogies don’t make any sense, besides these girls represent Nigeria, for once don’t mare it up will your foolish tribalistic sentiments. You clearly have issues, like seriously deal with it!

Most people are either lazy or ignorant as our natural hair is concerned!
I don’t think I’ll ever use relaxer or heat on my head again ever. This natural hair is the real deal.

MBGN, the beautiful ones are yet to be born!

what she did for talent show…what’s that? miming or contemporary dance? i find it cringe-worthy. Talent doesn’t always have to be geared along the lines of entertainment (dancing, acting, singing etc). She probably has good oratory skills or can gist well (aka narrating) but no, she decided, “lemme do something that looks like contemporary dance”. May God deliver us from stereotypes.. Congrats Anita
