On the 2018 International Day of the Girl Child, which was October 11th, Germany’s Deutsche Welle (DW) TV and Radio Network profiles and interviews 16-year old film maker and girl education advocate – Zuriel Oduwole.

Born in Los Angeles to Nigerian and Mauritian parents, she speaks about her incredible journey.

    It’s good to see a teenager making a difference and not just focused on posting pics on IG like most of these kids of Wealthy Nigerians who are just focused on the Superficial and not making any impact or difference. One parent is from Mauritius, she is not ? Nigerian and therefore she is not ? Superficial.
