It’s not everyday we see a Northern wedding of such glamorous proportions, but the wedding of Fatima, daughter of Nasarawa State governor to Abdulhakeem was one such wedding.

The wedding was exclusive and extremely top-notch as a number of dignitaries such as the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu and the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan among others, graced the occasion with their presence.

Fatima was a true Hausa queen as she looked so regal in all her colourful traditional attires but it’s not just the attires that do it for us. The little accessories that just highlight the Northern culture, such as the calabashes, the baskets, the mat as the backdrop, the gorgeous statement jewelry that completes every look and the amazing henna on her hands, all came together to weave the perfect story. Hakeem was the perfect prince and you can just see how he couldn’t wait to be married to Fatima!
