Awesome Treasures Foundation in partnership with the management of L’Oreal Central West Africa held their January summit titled “Metamorphosis 2: Becoming All You Are Born to Be”.
The event took place on Sunday 19th January, 2014 at the Muson Centre and had women from all over Nigeria in attendance. The Founder/Coordinator of the Foundation, Olajumoke Adenowo hosted special guests such as, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Stephanie Linus, Omoni Oboli, Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Tokunbo Kujore, and more.
The event was all about youth & women empowerment to become all they can be. Speaking about why L’Oreal West Africa partnered with the Foundation, the Head, Education and Training, L’Oreal West Africa, Titilola Igri-Offor, said the firm shared the same belief with the Foundation that in building confidence in women, it could have a broader impact in the Nigerian society by encouraging them to be all they can be.
To show its support and also to build confidence in women, L’Oreal West Africa organized a free training session to advice women on the most suitable looks and hairstyle to compliment their facial and body structure. The company also gave out gift packages to the first 100 women that arrived at the venue of Metamorphosis 2.
