It seems like it is fashion lookbook season and I am definitely loving it! It is beautiful women dressed in perfected garments and to top if all up; the glamorous photoshoots! I cringe with excitement! Here at BN will do our best to keep you updated as they roll in!
Maki Oh, a fairly new label to the Fashion Industry, recently released its lookbook for their debut Autumn/Winter 2010 collection titled “Everything in Proportion”.

Thought provoking fashion.
Breast fetish or breast fashion? Hmmn, this does not work for me.
i love the sheer tops and the n****e accesories
whats up with the boob/nipple showing? dont like..
complicated … maybe next collection will be better . plenty of room to grow.
ok…asides from the last pic of the white jumpsuit…please what is there to wear…
might as well walk aroun naked!
I agree with all of you.
Thought provoking, run naked as well, complicated……………………
Just forget it, this is no fashion
Look beyond the provocative styling and there are some great pieces, and Im sure the sheer tops can be layered in real life. Fashion cannot always be served up in bite sized pieces of easily digestible “wearability”. Some things require you to bite down and chew.
Nice…..really creative. I think Maki’s taking fashion in nig to another level the way alexander mcqueen did it. Most people not understanding it doesn’t make it any less fabulous.
I agree, these are pretty disappointing.
Verging on art…. not RTW but definitely show pieces….
Love me some Maki Oh! So refreshing. I love it!
To those commenting on the sheer and nippies showing. People like you are problematic to the fashion world.
People with real style will take what they buy and make it theirs. Since you have absolutely no style, you will not buy these pieces because you think you are meant to walk around with your nippies showing.
This is why i don’t like all these tailors that call themselves designers.
I think these pieces are breathtaking.
i would private message if i could. but “I cringe with excitement” is nt proper english. make una no vex o. just saying.
Cringe : A posture or gesture of shrinking or recoiling; A crick; To shrink or recoil, as in fear, disgust or embarrassment.
hmmmmmm…. very interesting!!
Is this fashion or what?????????
Maki Oh, definately one of the best things to happen to the nigerian fashion industry
Very unlike the over priced tailors calling themselves designers.
Amazing collection – quite a severe delight!
not everything should seem wearable at first glance . An individual’s style comes from how well he/she can combine seemingly “unwearable” pieces. the only problem i see here is Maki Oh overestimated people’s sense of style…exhibition of creativity
we are moving back to fella’s philosophy……a bit kullll
love it.. the photography reminds me of fela
