Bobo Omotayo & Estanola Oyelese

Bobo Omotayo hosted the first official book reading for his debut print offering “London Life Lagos Living” on Friday 18th November 2011 at the X.O Wine Store in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The coffee table book which features a selection of Bobo’s popular “Friday Track” articles alongside design, illustration, pop-art and photography from some of Nigeria’s most talented young creatives – Osione Itegboje, Karo Akpokiere, Gbolahan Adams and Folarin Shasanya.

The event was a perfect way to kickstart with weekend! We enjoyed wine from X.O’s cellar as we listened to the book readings and engaged in discussions about the book’s themes and stories.

    • Tiki November 28, 2011 at 6:23 PM

Was it a book reading or a wine-tasting? Who reads coffee table books in a bar, for goodness’ sake!

Plus, I don’t think everybody got the ‘dress code’ memo. Or will some people just dress up to the nines even if the communiqué says ‘sackcloth required’? hmmmm.

Occasions where u expect people to dress to the nine they show up with flip flops and daisy dukes. when you expect them to dress casual and laid back they show up in cocktail dresses with slippers.
