Just a few hours ago, TJ (aka Tee Billz), Tiwa Savage‘s manager, popped the big question to the “Kele Kele Love” songstress during her 33rd birthday dinner with very close friends and well-wishers – the likes of Banky W, Praiz, the Mavin crew and so many more.
Shortly after Praiz sang a magnificent rendition of the birthday song to the Mavin first lady, TJ got down on one knee, and you know what happens next…
Ha ha ha, cracked me the heck up. At parties, I always have a serviette handy to cover up my rice and moi-moi ASAP, people are projecting saliva every opportunity they get and I cannot bear it!

I don’t know sha, maybe I’m just being hopelessly romantic. I’ve witnessed a few proposals, in the presence of a small group of family and friends at a party, but it was never this rowdy. Maybe its because of the crowd I move in, but we all kept quiet, as if by remote control as soon as the guy got down on one knee. Just to let them have that moment alone, even though they had witnesses. We gathered round after screaming congratulations and hugging them. Tee Billz could just have sneaked her out of the party for a private moment, proposed, and surprised everyone when they get back and she’s flashing a ring. I guess when you are in their line of work, the game is different. I hope they both get to remember this moment, for what it was and not just the shouts and holla’s. Lol. Nigerians and boundaries…………..see them and their phones, as if the ring was running away, like they wont still get to see it on her finger, and they can snap away after. Lol….. Congrats Tiwa. The worst kept secret in the music biz. HML you guys.
