okagbareYesterday was a very exciting day Nigeria as Nigerian sprinter, Blessing Okagbare won Nigeria’s first medal at the on-going IAAF World Championship in Moscow. Blessing leaped 6.99metres to win the silver medal in the long jump final event.

She came second to Brittney Reese (USA) who clinched the gold medal.

We’re super proud of Blessing’s achievements! Way to go #TeamNigeria.

Bella Naija you need to be more prompt with your ‘latest news’ as this info was so yesterday evening and so are a few other features like the Uche Jombo castration news. (Unlike print, digital press waits for no one; keep up with the competition). Having said that, Congrats to Blessing!!!
