63 Senators Support Plan to Impeach Pres. Jonathan

The plot to impeach President Goodluck Jonathan continues.

According to Punch, 63 senators our of 1o9 members of the Senate on Thursday signed up for the impeachment plan.

One of the senators reportedly showed Punch reporters the list containing the senators’ signatures. The source also claimed that eight People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senators were signatories.

Also, an APC senator is said to have told journalists that “the lawmakers’ major grouse was the President’s poor handling of the economy and political affairs of the country.”
