Another Fashion Destination Launches in Lagos as Taé Opens Flagship Store
Much loved Nigerian label Taé opened its flagship store in GRA Lagos some weeks ago and BN was on the scene to capture the moments. Taé is the brainchild of designer Bisola Edun – Bisola was a finalist in the 2008 International Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year Competition sponsored by the British Council. Since then Bisola has taken strides towards firmly establishing Taé on the fashion scene. Guests at the store opening included Tara Fela-Durotoye, fellow designers – Ituen Basi and Lanre DaSilva Ajayi, Event Planning Pioneer Yewande Zaccheus, Ibukun Awosika of the Chair Centre and many other customers and wellwishers. Given the challenges young entrepreneurs face in Lagos – exhorbitant rent, power costs, high cost of borrowing etc… the milestone of opening a store cannot be understimated! We are wishing Taé all the best and success! Photos Below.
