You are so right! The woman can’t act and she needs to take an English class. It’s not just her pronunciations, her grammar is terrible as well.

Wow; isn’t it ironic that Tonto Dikeh’s life can also be related to the character of the movie; she needs to walk in the light; and only Jesus Christ is THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE; cause her life is heading for destruction.

I really don’t think the Nigerian and Ghanaian ‘film’ producers edit their movies as the grammatical mistakes of their performers are so glaring. I totally agree that Tontoh Dike cannot speak English, in fact, she butchers it and girlfriend seriously does need English lessons. I was shocked to read that she actually graduated from the university. But she isn’t the only performer whose English is terrible. There are also those so performers who have what is known in Ghana as LAFA( locally acquired foreign accent)for instance Omotola Nadia Buari, Ramsey, Ini, Jim Iyke etc, who do not realise how cringe inducing their acting skills can be with the LAFA.

      LAFA…..loooollllll!!!! I love that one!!!

What sucks is that because of people’s cognitive rigidity towards Miss Dikeh, they won’t even accord the girl praise when she does well. The video looks good, the movie seems to address issues that young people face today, and I think the fact that she’s chosen to play the character should afford her nothing but respect. Jesus! Y’all need to grow up and realise its the 21s century, keep your conservative views indoors and criticise a movie fairly!!!

  30. chexbarbie

    January 26, 2012 at 5:21 pm

uuurrrrmm!! @ngozi one thing u should understand is this: everybody is entitle to their own opinion and where is this place? BLOG WEBSITE, so NO they will NOT keep their conservative views indoors, neither will they stomach their critics. Somethings need to be said and critics are allowed. The way your SO CALLED celebrities take it is what matters. TONTO is obviously not a good actress so she should listen to her fans and correct all those things they dont like about her PERIOD. Bella post y comment oooo
