    • Osi

      November 1, 2012 at 2:16 pm

You must be stooooooid, my friend getaway here, so Toke can not wear forever21? Or anything cheaper? Materialistic idiot, the dress is fab and looks a million Dollars on her, we dont care if its from bend down corner

    • Mz Socially Awkward...

      November 1, 2012 at 2:56 pm

I just can’t with the Nigerian version of ignorance… are you seriously trying to slam her for buying a dress with her own damn money and then wearing it however many times she wants to? You sound like the typical vapid and silly Nigerian chick.

    • Chattyzee

      November 1, 2012 at 3:14 pm

I agree with Ms Socially Awkward; so it’s a Forever 21 dress…. so what? Should she have gone to balogun market?

I’m reeling with embarrassment for your stupidity. If you didn’t tell us would be know and how does that take away from it being a nice dress and her looking nice? Take a seat please!

@ roomandpalor…..there’s nothing wrong rocking a dress from regular stores like Forever21. Fashion is all about that….mix and match. Not necessary wearing designers from head to toe. So you know, even this American celeb dey rock am well and they’ll tell ya. Watch Wendy Williams show and you’ll hear enough. Nicki, Bey, Kim n co all do. So, abeg stop with the critics and appreciate our very own.

The Azonto King and Queen perfumes were “made” “specifically” “customized” for the event, presented to the best azonto dancers. The show was tight tho, thumbs up Ariyike.

Why can’t you guys ever see the good in what your mates are doing? I was at this event and the prefumes were given out by mystiquuee perfumes to the best dancers. If you know the vision for Bobw, I’m sure you wouldn’t be running your dirty mouths. This Ariyike chic is creating awareness for evict rape africaa at her event next week wednesday. I listened to her on radio today and I was so happy to hear that there are still young Nigerians willing to make a difference and u idiots are there laughing at azonto perfums and Toke’s shoes. I saw Toke at the event and she looked really nice

Darling dear, cool your blood. Bella Naija didn’t provide us with such information, so therefore we are now idiots? abi wi be winch? how are we meant to know.
And only 1 person mentioned Toke’s shoes. Next time count to 50 before you display your anger

    November 1, 2012 at 5:27 pm

Well done Ariyike, God bless the work of your hands. I was at the event and I had so much fun. All you goats that are abusiing toke are on cheap dope. Leave the girl alone. The girl that made the perfumes is Tope Omai, she’s not even up to 30 years old and she’s doing big things. That was her own contribution for the best azonto dancer. Chattyzee you are silly and myopic for dissing someone else’s brand. You ladies need to wake up and stop thinking like fish brains. Young ladies are stepping up their games to do stuff and you guys are here looking for how to run them down. Shame on you fools that can’t ever see the good in others. That’s why you’ll forever be frustrated

  19. beauty

    November 1, 2012 at 5:39 pm

You are all invited to the next edition of BOBW next week wednesday (7th of November) from 6pm to 10pm. It would be nice to see you ladies there. By the way, I don’t make or sell perfumes, my sponsor mystiquee perfumes made the azonto queen and king perfumes for the winners of the azonto competition. Everything you see displayed from the perfume to the bags are all made in Nigeria.I supported vocal Slender’s ghetto love project in october and this month, I would be creating awareness for Evict rape africa. I’ve been talking to the originator of the project and he would be at BOBW to shed more light on what he’s doing, a few rape victims who have shared their stories with me would also be there. We live in a crazy crazy world. You can read more about BOBW from my twitter handle @Ladyariyike cos I’m answering questions about BOBW on twitter at the moment. Pls pardon my gbagauns cos I’m typing really fast!

I had to laugh at the foolish person who commented about forever 21 because I shop there and does that make me a third class citizen. If you are reeling in embarrassment you should be ashamed of yourself because u still shop there. Victoria Beckham, Rihanna and the likes shop at high street shops. I have seem Rihanna before at the shoe section of Topshop. We put ourselves under so much pressure. You probably thought your comment will be welcomed and we would all have a good laugh right? Too bad the joke is on u. You will be shocked the dress might have been a gift sef. Oga o! Naija ti Le gan o

No need to get all super-worked up chums. Una deserve the kain celebrities wey una get. Clearly Nigeria is the only place where celebrities wear 15 dollar dresses? I rest my case.

    November 1, 2012 at 9:04 pm

By the way, forever21 is NOT topshop. Sorry to break it to you. Just saying. It’s cheap clothes for broke girls. At some point, everyone has to outgrow forever21. Abi na lie I talk?

What’s wrong with rocking a Forever 21 dress. This is the thing that pisses me off about Nigerians; the tendency to always want to show off. Let me say this : I do 9o% of my shopping at Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales, however no denim jeans fits my bum like the ones I get at Forever 21. I can afford to get a $350 true religion jeans from Neiman Marcus but what’s the purpose if the jeans doesn’t fit right. I would rather get a $35 denim jeans from forever 21 that looks good on me than get a true religion jeans just to show off the label and end up looking haggard. I have seen Jessica Alba and Cameron Diaz rock a Forever 21 dress for a Red Carpet event. It’s not all about the label. when a dress looks good : It looks good regardless of whether it’s from Neiman Marcus or Forever 21.

O ga o,what if she didn’t get the dress from 4eva 21 nko….I mean,u still see the same style with different name. Some people can die for names just like they will kill to get titles.i hope some people can afford to feed themselves and pay their bills before going shopping in one ‘top shop’….abeg pls drop all these ‘ijebuish’ attitude
