International creative agency IFactory Live recently announced the global launch of its ‘Diamonds from Africa’ Ad campaign. The campaign will see television hosts and celebrities from across the African continent come together in one commercial produced by IFactory Live and is aimed to promote its TV shows on the DSTV platform (Africa Magic Entertainment) and on the OH Africa network.

The 90-second glitzy television advert was shot across various locations in the UK and will see the likes of veteran Nollywood star Jim Iyke (Nigeria), actress Osas Ighodaro (Nigeria), business woman and TV host Geeta Sidhu Robb (Kenya), Ghanaian actresses Anita Erskine, Michelle Attoh, Dzigbordi Dosoo and Joselyn Dumas all come together as aspirational ‘Diamonds’ en-route to various destinations in Africa onboard a luxurious Virgin Atlantic Upper Class deck.

Both Chief Creative Officer of  IFactory Live Michael Djaba and CEO of OHTV/OHBOX Akinola Salami expressed their excitement about the new campaign which will launch in April 2013 across TV, print, radio and billboards in select cities across the globe. A special 120-second advert has also been created to air in select movie theatres.

mschew. so it’s only jim iyke and that girl that they chose. or did the other top Nigerian stars demand higher fees? i don’t understand who their target market is because jim is as good as dead, while the other girl is still not a celebrity yet.
