Join House of Tara for the Launch of its Coffee Table book – ‘House of Tara 100 Voices’ | Tuesday 25th June 2013

We’ve been patiently waiting and now it’s here. The ‘House of Tara 100 Voices‘ book launch takes place tomorrow in Lagos and we can expect that it is going to be a great event. The project, which started with the brands beauty representatives from all over the country sending in their inspiring stories, is set to launch to launch its coffee table book.

According to the brand, the book has its Foreword  by Dr Oby Ezekweseli and contains inspiring stories of all the beauty representatives whose stories were chosen by Nigerian women who read the stories. Among the women were Uche Pedro, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Ibukun Awosika, Omoni Oboli, Abike Dabiri, Linda Ikeji, Tosyn Bucknor and Adesuwa Oyenokwe. The stories to be featured are of courage, enterprise and inspiration.

These House of Tara beauty representatives have chosen to become business owners and therefore erased their names from statistics of the ‘unemployed youth’ in the Country. Instead, they have chosen to rewrite their stories as young and talented heroines of their generation and for this reason, House of Tara has chosen to Celebrate them.

Tara Fela Durotoye, hopes that the book will promote determination and hard work among youths and Nigerian women and that the 100 VOICES project in general will help build lives.
