D’banj the latest Agriculturist in town meets the “No 1 Farmer in Africa” Olusegun Obasanjo aka Baba Iyabo.

The music superstar and the former Nigerian President met on board a plane when they landed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the African Union Summit.

“Just touched down Addis Ababa for the AU SUMMIT With the No 1 Farmer in Africa President Olusegun Obasanjo (Baba Iyabo himself)” he captioned the photo on Instagram.

So if D’banj decides to leave music completely, it is safe to say he has OBJ as a friend to help him build his own green business.

D’Banj, it’s “Former President” Olusegun Obasanjo. Unless you captioned this in 2007. The both of them must have had quite an interesting conversation…

You always refer to former Heads of States as President XYZ when you call them regardless.

That’s true. The usual convention is to address (or refer to) former presidents as “presidents” (especially in the US). Though the Nigerian perchance for things like “your excellency” “your lordship” “right honorable” “senator doctor” “Governor Senator” etc is just downright nauseating.
