State Security Service Visits Nasir El-Rufia’s Abuja Home to Arrest Him
The State Security Service (SSS) arrived at the house of Nasir El-Rufia unannounced in a bid to arrest him.
According to reports, they visited the home of former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja for failure to honour an invitation extended to him.
His son Bello El-Rufia made the announcement of their arrival on Twitter.
The SS just came to our house to “arrest” Mallam. They got told he had gone to pray, and asked of his children and their mother.

Punch reports that SSS operatives stormed his Maitama, Abuja residence for making a provocative statement on the 2015 elections. Guards of the residence locked the gates; refusing to allow the SSS operative access into the residence.
