Seyi Shay co-hosts this Week’s MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 Chart as Burna Boy’s “Yawa Dey” is No. 1

Host of the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 Ehiz hosts this week’s episode with the Nigerian songstress.

Her song “Irawo” is at number 7 on the chart. She gives insight into a few videos on the chart, as well as the scoop on her relationship with 2Face Idibia.

“I have so much respect for 2Face. He is my mentor and I have learnt a lot from him and his work. He also got me my very first gig in Nigeria and since then, I have only continued to move higher. I am grateful for every opportunity I have to work with him or perform on the same stage with him“, she says.

Topping this week’s chart is Burna Boy‘s – “Yawa Dey”, while Dr Sid‘s “Surulere” moves up to the number 2 slot, from number 7 last week.

Music diva Tiwa Savage is all smiles at the number 4 position. Rounding off the top 5 list is Banky W with Jasi.

After the show, Seyi Shay does a quick freestyle for Ehiz and gives him more than he bargains for by surprising him with a quick kiss.
