Some of the abducted Chibok girls who escaped

It is heartbreaking to imagine the terrible ordeal the abducted Chibok girls are experiencing. But it is even more devastating to actually hear the horrific accounts of the physical and psychological torture they are experiencing.

Oladimeji Thompson, counter-terrorism expert, has been working to assist the escaped victims heal from the trauma they have gone through. He narrated one of the victims’ ordeal to Punch – the story of a girl who was allegedly raped 15 times daily by 15 of the terrorists on a daily basis.

“It’s obvious this girl needs to be managed. She looked confused. She found it hard to talk to me but after much prodding, she confessed to me that she was raped 15 times by 15 men throughout the time she was with the Islamic insurgents before she could escape from their den.

A girl who has been raped by 15 men every day, you say you negotiate and gave her back and release a terrorist who will go out and kill more. What negotiators do is to say that they must not tell their stories, they blanket all the information. In a situation like this, it is the Boko Haram that wins more.”

So sad.

Tales by moonlight – all na wash… Love him or not, Uncle Jonah is the head of this country and ascended to that position by divine intervention. Every plot to destabilize this country through whipping up sentiment must FAIL. Shebi dem talk say Nigeria go scatter come 2015, seems like they are working hard to fulfill that prediction. Think with your head and not your emotions and ask yourselves why the inconsistencies in the stories these people are peddling.

Let me save you the time and effort of coming here to ask ‘if it were your sisters and so on,’ something ain’t clean in the milk with this whole Chibok saga.

And, oh, the last time I checked, I am entitled to my own opinion, so if you do not have anything constructive to say, move along and no personal attacks otherwise every insult and curses will return back to the sender 77X7 in Jesus name. Gbam.

LOL you harsh. Not playing insentivity here but these whole saga is just filled with much loopholes and inconsistency. I thought they girls said they escaped on the abduction night when they jumped out of the van on their way to BH’s den meaning they didnt reach BH neighbourhood, so how then were they raped? (well, maybe I am the one mixing things up)

oga o. Even the most hardened prostitute will find it hard to withstand having “relations” with 15 men everyday, for more than 1 month, how manage an “innocent” girl, who had never been subjected to such treatment, was able to not only withstand being violently RAPED up to 15 times every day, but was able to keep tally of how many men and how many times. Even to walk properly would have been a problem, not to mention the STDs and UTIs from all of that.

Anybody who has ever been subjected to rape will understand.

Abeg, the trauma of such an experience will cause such a person to blank out the details. Not only that, she was able to “escape” into the dense forest and find her way out. Yimu.

Conspiracy theory ko, actual facts ni.

Hmmm,I actually can’t believe you’re that heartless. So what of all the bombings and innocent people that have been killed, the thousands that have been displaced? Those are also tales by moonlight? You should really be ashamed of yourself. It is this mentality, this attitude of e no concern me as long as it is happening to someone else that has put us in this situation. In case you don’t know, Nigeria is disintegrating and whether Jonah is there by divine intervention or not, the earlier he wakes up to his responsibilities and realizes that Nigerians are not his enemies and it is in his job description to protect us from these terrorists whether they have political affiliation or not , the better for us all.

Wow, I’m shocked , don’t even know what to say to u. True or not, just picturing a girl being raped alone is enough to break ones heart. Do u honestly think these men will not touch any of d girls?

Interesting view. So for your god, a political position is more important than the lives of innocent young girls? If this is how your god operates, keep him for I am not interested. he cannot himself or through his so-called followers save me (or even you).

You are threatening people with the name of Jesus? Do you even know Him and what He stood for? He stood for love for the oppressed, He stood for justice and spoke against evil. Unfortunately you are so blinded by misplaced loyalty that you show no empathy for the innocent ones who are killed daily. Is that what Jesus would do?

Next time you want to bring up your conspiracy theories and blame games, leave Jesus Christ out of your opinions. BTW your “back to sender” prayers don’t work, God is not your errand boy or your hitman that you send to destroy those who disagree with you. May God help you!

To the main story, may the God of peace heal the emotional & physical wounds of all the victims of Boko Haram. We rest in the knowledge that HE who hates injustice & wickedness will repay these evil doers and their supporters to the full. No evil will go unpunished!

God is able to heal every wound..Isa 61:1-3, and He will do it for the girls no matter what they pass through IN JESUS NAME.

@If I hear and Missy J : Please keep up with the news – on Tv or Sahara reporters not just on blogs. Also just read al- kaheeda terrorists kidnapped students in Syria as well. If you recall Boko Haram has links with al-kaheeda so it totally makes sense that this is their new strategy.

I’m so scared – Nigeria is at war! Bombings and killings in Northern Nigeria daily, and some people still choose to remain ignorant. God borbid the war may eventually move down to the South, and people like ‘If I hear’ and ‘Missy J’ will continue to doubt until the war reaches their doorsteps…….

I don’t think anyone is saying what BH is doing is good. We surely all feel sorry about what’s going on, but the simple truth is that there is more to what we are watching and seeing….. We have really let most of our emotions take over us. For those who can pray, let’s continue, for those who can fight let’s fight them off. Since America and the rest came in I have not even seen any progress in the matter but I know that’s just because its a matter of national security, everything has become on a need to know basis.

The way people go on about GEJ being in that position as if it is a lifetime appointment. He will do his term, maybe if people are stupid enough he will return for a 2nd term and that’s it. All his loyalists will move on to the next but he will forever be remembered as the president who didn’t listen to his people. The president who never stood up to his detractors in the interest of the people he serves. He has set a very bad precedence that I fear will influence Nigerian youth, that service to your nation is just theory, that once you are at the top, think of no one but yourself. How sad

Your tone is very disappointing. Don’t be so insensitive and crass. You might have your reservations about issues surrounding the abduction of the girls, but exercise a bit more caution and tact when making comments over such a sensitive issue. A girl claims to have been raped 15 times daily, we don’t know for sure what’s happened but she might be telling the truth, in fact chances are that she is being honest. Do not politicize everything- there’s a time and place for that, this isn’t the apt avenue for you to spew your conspiracy theories…like I said exercise more tact.

Nigeria is full of psychos and sickos and some of them are here making retarded comments.
These kidnapped Chibok girls are being raped daily and only God knows how many are still alive.
Boko Haram terrorists are sponsored by the evil cultists in power from the Niger Delta to Lake Chad.
They don’t care about you, since their own families are far away in their safe houses in their prisons called homes in Nigeria or overseas in Dubai, the UK and US.
