L’Oreal Paris shoots Liya Kebede, Zoe Saldana & More Hollywood Ladies for its Red Lipstick Campaign

Red Lipstick Loreal Paris Campaign - Bellanaija - September 2014

We have got some hotness for you to end the day!

Some of the hottest women in Hollywood – Ethiopian model Liya Kebede, Zoe Saldana, Eva Longoria, Frieda Pinto, Julianne Moore, Jane Fonda, Kirsten Dunst and more have been shot for the new campaign featuring different shades of red lipstick for L’Oreal Paris.

The campaign shows the ladies dressed in all white, looking gorgeous with sleek hair and wearing bold red lipsticks to celebrate the brand’s latest lipstick launch – a collection of “Pure Reds”. There are 285 shades of red in the world that are visibly different to the naked eye. So L’Oreal took many of those shades, named them after Hollywood starlets, and created their new collection.

See more shots below.

Great job Loreal, one black person is really a different shade of lipshit. Zoe Saladana is not an African American either, so Loreal quit throwing SHADE

What about Zoe isn’t African American, except that she isn’t American? In the same way all blacks in the U.S. are referred to as African American, so is she. Believe it or not, there are a lot of Black Latinos especially Afro Cubans and Dominicans. My sister is married to one of them.

Just to clarify though, she is American. I meant to say that she didn’t grow up in America.

How many black people will make it black enough for you?? Its a miracle how some people cannot think past color of skin. sigh!

One day maybe you will realize that diversity isn’t only about color of skin

She does not identify as such. And her playing Nina Simone in blackface with certain prosthetics insults many African Americans

Liya Kebede SLAYED and stands out as the prettiest by far. I would have loved to have seen Naomie Campbell up there as well.

I think it’s good Naomi isn’t there. She is great and all, but sometimes I think people forget other black women exist and always go for her. It’s nice to see someone besides her.
