Hangouts are much less pressure, and if right lead to proper dates. It’s easier to fake through a date, but in hanging out, the real person is more easily revealed. It also works as an alternative if either is shy to ask the other on a ‘date’. It’s not always about money, though that’s another topic altogether. Naija women and their need to be validated by a man is what gives naija men more power.

First of all You like food too much, pls stop encouraging this unrealistic kind of courtship, life is not a romantic comedy staring drew Barrymore and chris pine. Must u go out to eat,why can’t you two go for a walk, (cause someone like u will benefit greatly from taking long walks. LOL) nonsense, what a very rubbish, arrogant, boastful girl. If u like keep boasting that you have vex money and happy money, no man will marry you.

That’s how one dude called me on phone and said he wants to pay me a visit; in my house :o. Excuse me Iv met you just once; in church! And you want to come to my house? Unto what now?. Nigerian guys are just lazy, rich or not; they don’t woo ladies, they want to call you up, form visiting, eat your food and if they get lucky bang you.. the ones that hang out sef are the good ones. I don’t blame them, ladies now make things easy for them. why go through the chase when you can get it for free?. As for Vex money, that one is standard, no need ordering for more than you can afford biko.. ….

What is wrong in someone paying you a visit?
You met once in church??? you prefer going out than him knowing your house?
What makes you think he wants to eat your food? as if you can even cook sef

Why will he disturb himself bout banging you when he can just pick up one without an eish….

      Excuse you

Somebody she doesn’t know…she has just met….she should invite into her house?
Forget the safety aspect, but whatever ever happened to making an effort?

I generally don’t mind hanging out, if we’ve at least had a proper first date. What I just cannot abide, when substituting a date for hangouts is friends! It’s already enough that I agreed to ‘hangout’ with you, but to show up and find a ton of your friends there? Best believe I’m gon make a U turn back to my car without even approaching your table first.

Nice one Dami, but then we need to understand that there’s more to dates than eating and drinking. There are actually other things people can do on dates that bring them closer and sometimes reveal their true identities. (Take strolls, have workout dates, go to a gallery, go to a park, have a picnic, take a road trip to nowhere in particular, just enjoy the ride, go to church, go to the beach, etc).
