Boko Haram attacks Adamawa & Borno Barely 24 Hours after Ceasefire Agreement

Boko Haram BellaNaija

Barely 24 hours after the federal government and Boko Haram agreed to a cease fire, the insurgents have struck again.

ThisDay reports that Boko Haram attacked Borno and Adamawa between Friday and Saturday.

An unnamed source told reporters “just as we have started celebrating a ceasefire, we got news that these terrorists have attacked Borno again, giving us an indication that there was no such agreement or, perhaps, they are more than a terror group.

The regions attacked are Maikadiri in Abadam Local Government Area, in northern Borno State, and Sina and Grata villages in Michika Local Government Area in Adamawa State.

An undisclosed number of people were killed in the attacks. Many are feared dead.

Smh. I’m actually not surprised. Then again I suspect that d terrorist group are not 2geda as one body, hence there may be some factions that did not really buy the cease fire agreement.

It’s so sad how they keep preying on helpless villagers. It seems like they’re just killing for the heck of it.

How can humans sign truce agreement with those who are no longer human? Only in Nigeria. We made the mistake before. Making it again. We never learn. What kind of truce? Can you ever contain a group that has experienced the greatest autonomy ever that allowed them to operate as a nation of scoundrels of their own? Now you want them under government rule, to stifle their self found freedom to do at will as they wish, to take as they desire, to destroy as they deem fit, and you think signing the dotted lines means much. ask the west why they don’t negotiate with bad people. Its because you always lose. You have everything to lose and they have nothing to lose. So you always lose.

this is the reason why its very stupid to negociate with terrorists. They wanted to imitate america. The americans did the swap cos those terrorist will never step their foot on the american soil. In the case of nigeria, these people can find their way in anything cos of border problem. Boko haram want a swap due to the recent success by the military and the killing of shakeu, they are looking for a new leader and we are helping them by doing a swap. Those girls can never be the same. Without full offensive without any useless negociation they will keep using it to their advantage. APC being their sponsor of the bring back our firls campaign is one reason why nobody must vote for that stupid party. They are not in the interest of this country
