Eku is a very gorgeous girl and she knows that she can be dressed in rags and we will all still be swooning over her, unfortunately, she pushed her luck too far this time. This definitely is one of her worst looks this year(and probably of all time).

  8. Asgrl

    October 18, 2014 at 10:53 pm

Sheyi shay for the win. I like Eku, but this look was not the biz. A tad too heroin chic in Victorian London and she did a ton of coke before showing up. But still love her though.

  16. editor

    October 19, 2014 at 12:21 am

side note – agbani’s hair really really suits her. feeling the braids.
Toke looks like a cheap beauty queen or 99cent prom dress
    tonye’s makeup is on point
    not feeling fade’s look
    Eku looks…..untidy
Funke Akindele’s dress is hot (mehn if she had more nyash it would have been fire :p)
Bridget Awosika always looks safely classy (no risk taking but always appropriate)
and I like the black Toju Foyeh dress

    my 2 cents

Ene Maya Lawani is my pick

    October 19, 2014 at 1:21 am

  20. Fashion Diva

    October 19, 2014 at 1:39 am

Are you freaking kidding Toju Foyeh? How dare you rip off Oscar de la Renta’s design and have the audacity to call it your own. That dress on soon to be Mrs Gbenro Ajibade – Osas Ighodaro is a total rip off.

And her design with Jumai Shaba is just plain tacky.

Looking good is Agbani Darego. But I feel like we have seen this look from her and Eku before, she looks good but isn’t just fresh.

Speaking about Eku, I love the idea of the separates. The spaghetti-strap crop top and pink dress is just simply a fashion moment. Her styling destroyed it for me. The pearls are totally unnecessary, the drop earrings are disastrous, the black “travelling” bag and heels are just off.

I prefer Eku’s beauty style when she opts for a chignon, smokey eyes, light pink lipstick. For styling no necklace, stunning stud earrings, no clutch and pink heels would have sealed the deal.

Toke Makinwa just looks like a pretty doll. She looks really good.

I like Betty Irabor’s look, I just feel the materials used make it look a little bit too too cost effective. It could have been presented and tailored well.

Dolapo Oni looks nice but she’s forgettable in this piece. She should try and wow us sometimes. She comes off like a woman with two kids, who dressed just okay.

Ene Maya Lawani – I like the idea you were going for, It gave me sort of a deja vu moment when Karolina Kurkova walked the MET Gala in a sequined turban and dress by Rachel Zoe. But has she tried this look before guys? Too predictable.

Moet! Moet! Moet! Please make it stop. We can definitely see you are uncomfortable in that dress. I feel like i have seen this dress hanging outside in the hot sun while trying to buy meet in Oshodi from my favourite butcher. Girl, switch it up.

Tonye Garrick looks nice. I will love to see a clearer picture though. Something just looks off with this pic.

Yvonne Nwosu, I can’t wait to see the rest of the dress. Because so far, so good.

Bolanle Olukanni – You are such a pretty girl, That dress doesn’t work for you. The hairstyle is not good. It’s sad to see you like this girl.

At first glance, I thought I would hate Mo’Cheddah’s look but after taking time out to look at all the pics, the more I like., It is so girly and sweet. The cape should have been better. Silver is quite a nice choice for styling pink.

Oh Gbemi, I hear angels singing today. You look clean and fab. BUT it isn’t a business meeting, if at all you were going to wear a pant suit, please tell your friend Kunbi of April by Kunbi to make something unconventional.. You come off has a woman who has to go and seal a deal and just branched at the ball for a quick fun.

Vimbai is always someone I pass I pictures by so fat but I love prints and i couldn’t help but smile. Thank God,your strapless crop top wasn’t too revealing.

Ugonna Omeruo love it from the back. I love the idea of the umbrella skirt but from the front it is just there. I wish the umbrella skirt design was thorough. But you looked glam.

Guys, we need a prayer session for Fade Ogunro. I mean come on girl. You always get it wrong, I am sorry always. What the heck is this? Who styled you? Please fire that person and hire a tailor from Lagos island, since apparently anything is okay by you to wear.
I know you were trying to take a fashion risk but girl hell-to-that-no. I would have even preferred a slut cut that way I don’t have to see all the wasted sheer material sweeping the dust at the ball.
Let’s look a for a positive side – your girls look great other than that, “hands in air in frustration.
The backless situation isn’t presenting your body in the best light, your hairstyle is not good, the make-up? Sigh.

    Seyi Shay nice.

Titi Oyinsan. Please take this in the best way, I want you to look at old red carpet pics of yourself on BN. Have you? Have you seen how much your style has changed over the years? I want you to please raise the roof in the so distant future. This look is not good at all. I am taking my time not to comment more because I really like you as a grown woman, who has had two twin girls and is still working hard but this dress…

Funke Funke, single and ready to mingle. You look nice but I think Tonye Garrick wore something similar – Link:

    Ariyike not bad.

Liz Yemoja please not that silhouette again.

Bridget Awosika thanks for looking pretty in black.

Sharon Ojong. Hmmm…not bad at all, but please let’s spice it up just a notch next time. The draping of the dress isn’t just right.

Tears in my eyes. Kunbi Oyelese, thank you. I love this white dress with the scoop neckline and the right amount of pink with a sash. You look takeaway o.

Stephanie Linus? Ladies, please take note. Except you try to make a pencil skirt with sequins which has a lace bodice, it often never works.
The top part isn’t tailored well, the sequined skirt just looks drabby but I love your hair, make-up and styling. Plus your butt looks fab in the dress.

Please BN more pics. BIG SMILE.

Is the dress colour code for the pink ball pink? Or do they just go with pink coz it says Pink ball ? Meanwhile I think if a stylist dresses someone in another persons creation the caption should read “styled by” because saying ABC in XYZ gives us the impression that the dress was designed by XYZ when it was clearly not. XYZ just went on a shopping spree to NYC, Dubai and bought already designed clothes.

A lot of amazing looks, a few people on the otherhand make me wonder if women aren’t getting their measurements taken before having their dresses made. Why are you bursting at the seams, with an obviously squished, poor fitting chest area in the name of all na cleavage. It’s not a good look.

    October 20, 2014 at 3:11 pm
