It is definitely a good year for the protégés of Matthew Knowles – Beyoncé had an amazing concert, Kelly Rowland just gave birth and now Solange Knowles is reportedly set to marry her boyfriend Alan Ferguson.

According to US Weekly, the two of them will be getting married this weekend in New Orleans in a private and simple ceremony. US Weekly states that “on Friday, November 14, the group will enjoy a movie night together before Saturday’s rehearsal dinner and then on Sunday, November 16, Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson will make it official in front of friends and family.”

28-year-old Solange Knowles and 51-year-old Alan Ferguson have been dating for almost six years and this will be Solange’s second marriage. Her first was to Daniel Smith in 2004, her college sweetheart and father of her 10-year-old son Julez.
