Boko Haram Attacks Chad
Boko Haram insurgents reportedly attacked Chad overnight, the first such assault on Chadian soil.
The terrorists were 30 in number, and crossed Lake Chad via motorboats and attacked Ngouboua village, which is located near the shores of the lake, BBC reports.
According to eyewitness accounts, several people were killed during the attack.
Sources are speculating that the attack stemmed from the fact that Chad recently joined Nigeria, Cameroon, and Niger to form a military coalition against Boko Haram.
