This is divorce guaranteed and remaining soul tied for life. Not a good soul tie. You know how many Hollywood marriages that have packed up from these practices. How can you in your right mind lock your union that has not even started properly into some myth best described as oyibo black magic.
I know a friend who went to them crystal ball people to find out her future for marriage and her marriage not only packed up, she is heading to her fifties and suffering from Bipolar disorder.
Darkness never gives light. They give illusions from ‘stolen’ light and give it back when the rightful owner demands for it, and the victim is left drained of life and sanity.
    For goodness sake!!
Where is the wisdom in this?!!
Don’t mess with what you don’t understand and tying up your generations destiny in the name of trying to be cool!

What the hell are you ranting about? Take some cold water and calm down. ‘This divorce is guaranteed’ indeed…..divorce will be YOUR OWN PORTION NOT THEIRS.

      Silly human.

Really? Reaaaaaallly? We’re attacking the Bible now? Did the babe making the ignorant comments tell you she read it out of the Bible? Come on! Don’t jump on a bandwagon because it seems cool.

What is wrong with reading the bible everyday? how can you open your mouth and adjudge that the cause of that statement was because of daily reding of bible? do you have an idea what the bible is or says about us? do you think its just a mere novel people pick up to read and drop when they are overdosed? please don’t ever make such silly comments anymore, or refer to the bible( God’s holy word) in that lackadaisical manner. God is not mocked.

Don’t mean to be cynical but.. This doesn’t change a thing. You might say “aww”… Yes.. Tom Cruise jumped on a couch like a mad man.. Seal proposed on a mountain top.. The truth is its much more deeper than the superficial things we crave. When the chips are down.. That asshole in you is gonna shine right through..

    • Kili

      May 23, 2015 at 1:42 pm

We all know… But nothing comes without a risk. Walking down your street is a risk too we just don’t know cos we are used to that routine.
That you don’t “a www and ooh” also doesn’t guarantee anything also, let people do what works for them.

    • Bruness

  6. Wisdom Calling

    May 23, 2015 at 1:10 pm

The wise always listen. The foolish simplify and disregard and end up running to some quick action church centre to quick miracles, and end up duped and confused. Taking responsibility is such hard work for the easy preys. Long life and prosperity is for the wise. Afterall, if you for e.g.make an unwise decision and decide to drive out by 2am in a clearly unsafe area in town when you can avoid it, and you end up robbed, murdered, raped, killed, etc, whose fault is that going to be.? Or if you are unwise with your money/income and literarily treat your account like using a basket to fetch water, will you say you were robbed or prosperity is unachievable?

Wisdom is profitable to direct. The simple minds think its too superstitious and try to wave it off by calling it crap. Negative traps are always displayed to appear harmless. If the devil appears looking like the devil, nobody will be tempted away from their destiny.

I find myself pondering Caprice’s comment deeply. Sorta opened my mind to other things other than this article.

I wish Ebuka all the best but as a man, sow the right seeds for your future family so you don’t start praying prayers of enquiry for stuff you could have avoided.

Wisdom is clearly talking to someone here…..including me.

I may be wrong, but why do I get the feeling Ebuka has done this more for the show (lovelock Bridge tings) than for any other reason? Dude just strikes me as pretentious. I remember reading an interview, and he made so much reference to his time in America, even though he was born and raised in Nigeria, and I think only did post-grad in the US.

Spot on! He’s always struck me as a social climber but you have to give to him, he’s milked his big brother fame into a profitable career that’s based on the attention he gets so he has to pull stunts like this.

I don’t understand for the life of me why Nigerians feel the need to speak with a silly accent! Europeans don’t try to force speak British accent, speak proper English with your God given Nigerian accent and rock it… Small time you will say oyinbos feel superior when we even try so hard to talk like them… So annoying

    May 23, 2015 at 4:50 pm

      May 23, 2015 at 6:51 pm

its a romantic gesture. u should know white people by now. example when u are under a mistletoe you must kiss ur boo.that kind of stuff.

couples go there to put a padlock on the bridge just to signify the love they have for each other and to take pictures to put on instagram just so they can show people they are in love just like what this attention seeker, ebuka did.

it doesn’t mean they have made a binding covenant with oyinbo obatala and oyinbo ogun

this is just a fun thing couples do. there’s no need to be superstitious.

the only problem we should have is why was it only ebuka who went to put the padlock.? he couldn’t wait when he and his boo go to paris they will put the padlock together. smh

    • tish

      May 23, 2015 at 10:31 pm

The only problem you should have is getting yourself help. You breathe negativity, allergic to anything positive. If you happen to think up any ‘nice’ thing, there must be a ‘but’. Constantly traumatized in your spirit so much so that you must include bible, pastor, Jesus in your rants, yet you still can’t find peace. Bruno in bellanaija is your alter ego yeah? My goodness, what a heavy burden you carry.

I have nothing against this act where lovers write their names on padlocks and leave it locked on the bridge, but this one really makes no sense in my opinion, because both individuals in love must be present to give meaning to this ritual.
He should have used his time for a more productive venture.
