Lmao I was expecting something better than Dencia’s mansion.funny how Davido posted the whole house and his colleague Dencia Abi an Denica who lives in an allegedly $3m home isn’t doing all this.Smh David’s this isn’t luxury my apartment here in Lekki looks just like your just better because I have a private pool please Bella naija stop trolling I have been to a lot of celebrities homes and the lies they tell are horrible. For someone who grew up in money Davido acts like new money.Bellanaja go on Linda Ikeji she has Dencia’s home I am jealous I must sell bleaching cream too

lol @ your apartment in Lekki, don’t even compare, those Nigerian houses be looking like Vampire sanctuaries with no room for natural light to come in, no architectural uniqueness same old boring concrete walls staring in the face. If He sells this house to build a house in Nigeria, it’ll be no small undertaking. my best guess is the house is not less than $300,000 in price.

      Aunty Ope
He is happy for what he has. not what you have. so you want him to buy a 3m house that he cannot afford abi? fake people your lekki private pool apartment? really are you sure you live in lekki? as human we have to be satisfied and grateful for what we have. if he had shown a mansion now it is this same you that will say he is flaunting. you don’t have to set your time with someone else clock.

You are a born hater….haba, kilode??? I love me some good ole shade & reading sessions, but chile i can taste the venom in this one.

You realize Davido is American right, and u are not. We know u wish for the day u get that visa, till then quit hating boo.
Wtf does zipcode have to do with anything?? Omolomo just shared his recent purchase that he will share with his daughter and u r pressed.
He is excited about his condo, why u mad?? Ughhh, His father has a luxirious mansion in GA, where he lived previously. His step mama has a house in atl too. The boy frequents yankee like almost every other week, so wats wrong if he gets a nice pad for himself??? Sorry but he aint “JJC” to luxurious life, he was born into it sweetie!!! I doubt he cares if the house is in the ghetto, get to know davido and u wi understand how humble he is.

All tea, all shade, the average 30yr old in naija like urself still lives in their childhood home or squat with family/ friends and also depend on daddy & mummy for errthang. While Mr OBO himself is living large in his own mansion in naija and creating jobs for nigerians. Appreciate, dont hate.

No tea no shade, but Can you tell us where ur own apt or house in naija is located?? If not, hush chilleee!!!

      May 28, 2015 at 9:45 am

@ Miss B thanks U! I thought I was about to see double U double Whao!.. Like U said, U are very correct. I have lived in ATL for the past 15yrs & truth be told, this is just a regular normal house. 1. Its not fenced, 2. It’s not a gated community, 3. One thing I hate the most ( your neighborhood ) houses are too close to each other. Usher, Diddy, Will Smith, Ludacris, Jermain Dupri, T.I, Tyler Perry etc now show off when U get to Buckhead community or Fayetteville GA or Lawrenceville and many more better counties now you can show off. Congrats but Honey this calm down.

I think he is rather wise to buy this place.. if you r only hear once in a year.. why on earth wld you go n buy a place in buckhead.. nor deh follow diddy.. if I had the kinda money this young boy has.. I wld do the same.. im nt trying to waste money abeg. .. kudos on your new place

  29. Beeeee

    May 28, 2015 at 7:15 am

Nna, whether my house is in my village or Banana Island, it’s still MY house abeg. What exactly is basic about the place? There are people twice his age in that same Georgia that are not homeowners. He didn’t call the place luxury, BN did. So whether the place is basic or not, it’s his.

  30. o

    May 28, 2015 at 7:18 am

See bashing left, right and centre simply because the house does not meet the ‘luxurious’ standard. The young man is only 23 or 24, and has bought a place for himself. Whether one flat, or town house or apartment or whatever, I still think it’s an achievement. How many ppl of his age can boast of having their own place? Someone said houses are cheap in ATL, pls how many have you bought there?? Another student pad in Texas is bigger, have you bought it?? Hmm…..
Let’s be kind, guys. And BN pls stop the tongue-in-cheek shade you guys have started throwing of late. I never heard him call it luxurious.

Btw, dude is so excited and I don’t blame him, I would be too!

  31. Ekalor

    May 28, 2015 at 7:36 am

I feel, we are missing the point….. He bought the house at 22 no less.. Above everything else…. He BOUGHT the house… How many of us OWN our everyday homes, talk less of a vacation homes… So less be real and drop all these is this luxury ish…..

A word of advice; As you hit milestones by the GRACE of God, be sure to tell someone [choose wisely] but NOT everybody! Good for you Davido!

  38. Caligula

    May 28, 2015 at 9:56 am

It very well could be a luxurious condo cuz it looks out together from outside. Why are people hating? He’s young so I don’t think he needs to overdo himself by buying a mansion. Most young celebrities & athletes on the west coast just do small condos because nobody wants the responsibility of maintaining a house. Kudos Davido, wish you more success!

  39. Nola

    May 28, 2015 at 9:58 am

Can people stop being too critical. Is he not better thanks 1000 of them who waste money on irrelevant things

Now! I dope my hat for this young man called Davido. Yes he bought just an apartment in a regular neighborhood , and so what? We know how successful he is and what his career is doing for him, but does he need to be exorbitant….do we even know his other investments.

So when we open our mouths lets be positive, lets not criticize those who need to be praised. People who truly work hard, don’t waste their sweat.

What should we say in the case of Dencia who is all flamboyant and has no talent, she claims to be a musician but we can easily count what she calls her music in 1 hand, and then, she claims a mansion…

    • Stop

      May 29, 2015 at 4:01 am

But Dencia has a business worth millions of $ with celebrities patronizing her so stop the hate atleast Dencia is smart with the business music doesn’t have money

    May 28, 2015 at 10:32 am

    Happy 4 him..
Even in the bible God boasted abt job and was tested by d devil. Whatever u brag about will be tested. Davido hope u re praying well oh cuz there re haters all around

  41. JustAgirl

    May 28, 2015 at 10:58 am

I would blame BN for their sometimes misplaced use of word. This house may not be all that of a luxury, BUT the main point is he bought a house! How many of us here can boast of this, its an achevemnet for someone his age, so yes! be happy and rejoice with him

  42. Moyo

    May 28, 2015 at 11:15 am

Congratulations Davido, but you need to stop this bad habit of always leaving your mouth open and bring out your tongue. It looks nasty

  44. maria

    May 28, 2015 at 6:35 pm

Everybody talking and hating, “it is just a regular townhouse” “nothing special” my question for you is where is your own? where are your own ordinary townhouses? where is your own nothing special? people spend their lives behing the computer screen and type away without thinking. this young man might be a celebrity but guess what he is doing something for himself and that is all that matters. be happy and celebrate with people who have been blessed so that you can be blessed too. and I am not religious but I know this. The majority of these commenters are supposed Christians who go to church every Sunday and pray for blessing but still when they see anyone progressing they develop stomach ache. his new house is an achievement for him not many 24 years old buy a house in the US

  45. NaijaPikin

    May 28, 2015 at 6:59 pm

The shade was actually thrown by BN. If the heading said “Davido shows off new house” it would have ben all praise. But nooo, BN had to throw in luxury, knowing fully well it would get folks typing along.

I’m still on the fence about how i feel about the new BN. Shading throwing and gossip dishing everyday.

  46. bukola

    May 29, 2015 at 2:38 pm

Its sad to see how hateful n envious Nigerians can be. Most of them hating here cant even afford a plot of land in their villages o. You are here hating on a successful young man who you are probably older than….smh. and for that one that is comparing her lekki house to this, this house will buy your lekki house and kee change.
IT DOESNT KILL TO BE HAPPY FOR OTHER PEOPLES SUCCESS. its a shame

” what the hell has zip code got to do with it”. .? Everything! American housing and suburban living runs on zip codes. The schools, purchase value and resale value, quality of life, quality of air, yes air quality etc. Google the top 100 wealthiest zip codes in the USA and find out if Nigerian politicians and flaunters can buy houses there. They will report some of them for money laundering as they sleep and go shopping without any means of livelihood. The cost of maintenance of the yard and house alone is something. However this boy is young and has his whole life ahead of him so even if he bought in a low income bad school zip code, he has achieved a lot, on his own with God’s grace and talent and I congratulate him as opposed to the kleptomaniac political class and their cronies who have been looting Nigerian dry.

Yes, zip code is one of the most important barometer of what you are buying in totality as far as property here. So… if you stole Nigeria’s money and asked your brother to buy a house s for a certain amount, you better do your due diligence otherwise God may be punishing you for theft by making you lose some of the money.
